Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I will be arriving on Wednesday evening. Greyhound will arrive in Manchester around 6:40 or so. I'll be schlepping my stuff to the tollgate and then to tent only as soon as it is close enough to when the gates open at 8 pm. I will help hold real estate as soon as I can drag my ass there.
For the veterans, do the gates always officially open at "8:00PM," or did they used to list earlier times? (Hint to noobs: I put 8:00 in quotes for a reason.) Not sure on my camping situation yet, but I'll definitely be arriving Wednesday evening, and will come over at some point to see what's happening or if anyone needs a hand with anything. This assumes I don't get stuck in Pod 1, which did happen in 2013, the only time I've rolled solo and wanted to camp in TO.

They start letting people in late Wednesday afternoon.

Oh, I'm well aware of that, because I'm usually one of said people. Just wondering if they always say 8:00. My group arrived a bit later last year then messed up getting in line and spent a good 3-4 hours crawling up Rte. 2 and up to the East gate. I'm making sure that doesn't happen this time.
I've noticed after a couple years of coming early also, that if you come in off the highway they send you to Pod 1, if you come in on Bushy Branch, they stick you in Pod 10. Still a hike, but no ridiculous quarantine. And at the tollgates don't forget to ask for a T.O. wristband. It wasn't enforced last year, but you never know, and having it got me out of the Pod 1 quarantine a little early.

I plan on camping with this group again. I wish I could help with the land grab, but I won't be getting in until Thursday afternoon. Sounds like numbers are dwindling. Unfortunately, I'll be flying in and will have to leave my EZ Up. I wish I could contribute to the group shade and shelter. I miss that thing. It's been a couple of years now since I've actually taken it out of the carrying case.
Anyone heading back to Nashville on Monday? I will be staying at a hotel by the airport. Also, if anyone is coming into Nashville on the 7th or 13th that needs a place to crash for the night, just let me know. I have an extra spare bed in my room if needed.

That's mostly true, at least the highway > Pod 1 part. But in 2011 and 2011 we hit the East gate (Bushy Branch near Shedd Rd) and got Pod 2. I followed the same plan in 2013 and got sent to Pod 1. But then in 2014 I hit the West Bushy Branch gate a bit before dark in the pouring rain and got Pod 2, as did friends who came in the other side at maybe 7:00. So I guess avoiding the highway entrance early on may help you avoid the quarantine, but anything else is hard to predict. In any case, I'm hoping to be in and set up just before dark, and not in Pod 1.
Thanks for the reminder about TO wristbands, I've never had one and would have forgotten.
It's looking more and more like I'll be camping with the fine folks of Inforoo this year, my first Bonnaroo. I'll be in on Wed too, having never been there I'm not sure exactly where I'm going, but once I'm there I'll gladly help with the land grab.
Also I plan on bring some beer from home, but I also paid for the souvenir beer cup, should that have came with my ticket package?!?! I didn't receive it.

Only like 25 days now!
Have you received your tickets yet? While I haven't bought one of the reusable cups I would imagine that they will ship you a voucher to pick it up on-site.

They should have sent you an email saying they made a mistake and are mailing the voucher to you. I got my email a few days after I received my tickets and mine should be delivered tomorrow for the vouchers for the cups! Hope this helps.
I am a bit concerned we may not have the numbers to.hold down camp this year. I will be in the area, but not sure if I will be able to get in early with my press band. I should know this up coming week.
Yes. Past three years Alyssa and I have been to camp by 5pm and grabbed as much space as we could. Bri has been there too. Robert comes in a bit later. Not sure if he's coming this year. Alyssa and I are coming in on Thursday so we will NOT be assisting with land grab. Maybe I said this somewhere earlier.
All we do is spread out our tarps and rain flush a big wide swath and then try to leave enough room in the middle for 10 plus ez ups which we put up as people arrive. I'll message Lynn and the girls and see if they will be there.

Has anyone reached out to Lynn and the girls? I know they don't come on here much but they always come in Wednesday night and can help with the land grab as well. I haven't heard if they're coming this year.
I left the camp Inforoo banner I had made with Leo last year so that won't be up until Thursday AM.
If Leo can ship it to me I'll handle it Wednesday night or maybe I'll make something that says "CAMP INFOROO" out of old teeshirts. I'll need to figure out a flag pole though. Maybe my brother or dad can get some PVC pipe.
I have the big tarp-like banner that Alyssa made, I don't have the Inforoo flag. At least I don't think I do... but I almost kinda remember taking that one home too. Crap, I'd better check the basement.

Ok I messaged Lynn and neither she or her girls are attending this year. Sad face.
Once someone takes the helm for wed land grab, message me and I will tell all the Inforoo secrets of life for getting in and avoiding traps and the deep dark BFE.
Hey y'all, this is JR's brother. I really look forward to camping at camp Inforoo with y'all. This will be my 3rd Bonnaroo but my last was 2011. Either way I'm totally stoked to meet all you guys. Gonna be a blast! Only 23 more days!

Same here. If you need tips on not waiting in line for hours, avoiding BFE quarantine, and successfuly doing a land grab hit me up.
Reading this thread has made me feel like I've abandoned my family. After attending 9 years in a row it feels strange not prepping for Roo. :/

I'm just a lurker, I've never been to 'roo before, Are you sure it is OK for me to just show up? Yes, just stop dithering and join us already! You are going to hang with the bestest people in all of Bonnaroo, we were on TV and everything.
Getting so close to roo I've decided to end my lurking ways. Tent only camping with Camp Inforoo seems to be the best choice for camping.
JR Count me in for the land grab. I will be in ATL for lunch Wednesday then straight into line. I imagine I will be there around 3-4. I will have my wagon also if anyone needs.
