How in the hell do you accidentally start watching The Wire? And why haven't you seen it by now?

Accidentally like I was bored and watched the first episode a couple days ago and now I'm on ten haha. Kinda been putting it off cause it's just so hyped up and wanted to mentally prepare to really be able to pay attention. And you only get to watch a great show for the first time once Plus I was 12 when the finale aired to be fair.

I've never even seen The Wire. Must be why I was never nominated for TIN.
The only Wire I'm familiar with is the G.D. ones under "The Girls" trying mightily (and failing) to hold them up whilst poking me mightily (and succeeding) in the ribs...
