Potent was the Board Member of the Month for April and he's refusing to pass it on to someone for May because he wasn't asked enough questions. Anything that reminds me of jimmyroo's reign is a point in their favor.

I'm 6 of 10 episodes into Season 5 of The Wire. I'm watching on my chromebook and pretty much any time the press scenes are shown, I click over to my twitter feed and read tweets until I can hear another scene has started.
I wish they would have continued to check in on the schools like they followed the drug trade in season 2 or city politics in season 4. Season 5 is going to end up being my least favorite. Seeing Randy like that in the group home and wondering what would have happened had Herc not screwed that up really impacts me where it feels.
Also, I don't get the love for Bubbles. A character I could certainly do without.

The Wire sometimes feels too vast for me. I would much rather see scenes of City Hall, the drug trade/Omar/etc, and the schools in Season 5 than the press stuff and McNulty's serial killer. Bubbles contributes to that vast-ness in the entire series for me. I'm not sure what he adds. I'd love for people to explain their view of it to me instead of posting memes.

Bubbles has the most soul in the series. Ironically he's basically the foundation of the moral compass. He may be an addict, but he faces struggles gracefully and always tries to do the right thing. He also goes through so much negatively and somehow comes out still smiling. He is the ray of light in a shit situation and you're not done with the series, so I'll leave it at that.
I just want to say that I'm perfectly okay with being your #NeverTrump alternative candidate. Is there someone else you really don't want to win? Join me.

I take offense to this. I haven't displayed my taste in awful TV in this thread, I don't believe.
