Biography (from Windish Agency): Hundred Waters is an art-pop band that formed in Gainesville, Florida in October 2011. With music that’s part acoustic, part electronic and completely captivating, musicians Nicole Miglis, Trayer Tryon & Zach Tetreault make up Hundred Waters. The trio met in middle school in Florida and formed the band in their adult years. The fusion of their talents quickly gave rise to a sound that has fans raving and critics drawing comparisons to Stereolab, Bjork and Four Tet. It attracted the most unlikely of label bosses, Skrillex, who signed the band to his OWSLA label. Since then the band has taken its’ live show around the world, touring with artists such as Alt-J, the XX, Jack U, Grimes, Julia Holter & more. The band is also responsible for co-founding and curating the application based micro festival, FORM Arcosanti.

Physical Reaction/Live Show I've seen Hundred Waters twice and their ability to replicate the lush, layered sound of their albums while still expanding and changing their songs has made them one of my favorite bands to see live (compare the live [Animal] video above with the studio version). It will likely be a beautiful set that you could enjoy while sitting outside the tent, but also dancey enough that you have a blast grooving in the middle of the crowd.
Personal Notes Hundred Waters are one of my most anticipated bands this year and one of the more unique gets for Bonnaroo. They have two great albums under their belts and are looking very likely releasing a new album this year, which is sounding very promising if early single(?) Forgive Me For Giving Up is anything to go by.
