Since my brother and I just booked for this coming Jam Cruise, I figured I'd start a thread for it!!! I know many on here are aware of this fest, and I know even fewer actually can commit to this adventure (funds, timing of year, travel, etc etc), but I also know that some of you have and can make it happen. So the lineup will be released within the next 12ish hrs and I cannot wait! My brother and I have been on twice (Jam Cruise 7 and 8), and both times were beyond what words can describe!!! Just seeing if any Roosters are planning on making the voyage this coming "Jamuary". No matter what the lineup, this is a fest not to be missed!
We pre booked yesterday. Went a few years ago and agreed! 100% best musical experience!!! It does cost a bit, but like VIP at Roo, it is totally worth it!!
Bucket list thing for me as well but usually it comes down to whether I want to do just this or do multiple festivals and shows in a year. I have a buddy who has done the past seven years or so and never stops raving about it all year. His pictures look amazing and the artists that he has met personally and hung out with is insane.

Didn't want to hijack the ACL thread. Yes I have done Jam Cruise before...back in '09 and '10. I was under the impression that in order to get the robe you had to go on five cruises. If you're right, then I will only need one more cruise after this coming Jamuary.

Very nice! Just looked at the floor plan for deck 9...you guys are literally just a wall and a room away. I'm not a member of the 9th Dimension group, and tried to find it last nite, but only found a page for some foreign band. That is a pretty huge group, and at least one of you got a room with a balcony. How many would you say are in your group? Haven't been on the boat since '10, so I'm all kinds of excited for this!!! Kind of a surprised that Cloud 9 went with Norwegian Cruise Lines over MSC, and the fact that they went with a smaller boat. Oh well, you can change the boat, but you can't change the magic that is Jam Cruise.

Looks like we are neighbors, 9657 here. I heard a theory about the boat change, the MSC boat is a LARGE boat and that limits what ports it can enter. With that, "its not the size of the boat..."

Not in Jam Cruise Forum, but I read it from time to time. There are fourteen in our group, some people are on different floors. Plus there is this "Seattle Crew" that my friend keeps talking about, I don't know if I know them, but they would be in addition to the fourteen. Just a couple more days... I am in Miami until 8pm on the day we return. Is anyone heading to South Beach? Probably going to head to News Café and get some breakfast and lay on the beach on my layover.

We're on the boat too, not going to the pre-show but we are hanging out the day we get off the boat to go to Run the Jewels at the Fillmore. Can't wait, Scrog, we're down for dinner Saturday if you and Sugar are still up for it.
Jan 20 can't get here soon enough!!! Sadly, my brother and I won't be able to party before or after the cruise. Oh well, Jam Cruise is still going to be the tatas!
