Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
So we are about a month out and I'm super excited for my first 'Roo!
I'll be flying out from Seattle (big PJ fan yes, but bought the tickets before the line-up was ever announced, just want to experience it all), getting into the Nashville airport Wed June 8th in the afternoon...
Two questions:
- Best way to get to 'Roo that night? It doesn't look like there are shuttles available on Wednesday? I posted on Ricky Rides... should I just Uber it?
- Secondly if I want to do tent only camping, should I just get there right when the gates open Wednesday night, you think that will guarantee me a spot?
Thanks... oh, 36yr old male, music lover, Seattle native, beer lover (worked in beer for 10 years now), world traveler, super chill and just looking to experience as much as possible... while sleeping as little as possible! =)
See you all soon, thanks for any help you can provide!
I'm not sure about transportation but if you get in Wednesday you should be able to get a spot in Tent Only. I had actually emailed them when I bought my tickets to ask what happens to people who buy the Parking Pass instead of the Camping Pass if Tent Only fills up and was told that they have an overflow location.

I would also suggest on checking out Inforoo's Tent Only camp. They are always welcoming of new people.

Depending on what time Wednesday night, I would be nervous about Ubering it from Nashville airport to the highway line in Manchester - surge pricing might be crazy, but I have no experience with Ubering in the area. You can also ask around on these boards for potential carpool buddy and chip in toward gas. Lots of folks around here have done Tent Only and will have tips at the threads mentioned above. Good luck, enjoy your first Roo!
I'd be leery of Uber surge pricing too to get to Roo, let alone the time and traffic. Could be a big bill and not sure where they'd drop you. Lines get long quick on Wednesday, and they reroute traffic so I don't know that you would be dropped right at the gate. But I defer to others who fly in on how they arrive - hopefully they'll share advice.

Hi. This is my fifth Roo. I'm from Tacoma. I hooked up with Inforoo in tent only and it was totally worth it and they are now some of my best friends. I consider this my yearly pilgrimage. In past years I just rented a car. Parked and walked up to tent only. The people love you because you get so much more space. Wed night is SO much fun. Heck it all is. I've gone by myself for years because well, you never really are by yourself. PM me with any questions you have.
