Right now? Because there are 5 votes on Potent. That makes me lean towards thinking the Mafia want him out. But tbh there's evidence for and against Potent being Mafia so I'm holding my vote where it is right now.

I made my case for JR already. I had no time at all yesterday to do any reading so I have nothing to go off of to change my vote at this time. I'm hoping to have a better day where I can go through the thread so I should be able to post with more substance later.

Here's Jaz's post back on page 10 where he thought I should be in the runoff. My name doesn't show up (in relevance to the post) until Jaz votes for me. If Jaz wants me in to create a runoff, that makes sense. If there's more to his suspicion of Bacon, Monky and me, he either hasn't shared or I missed it.
Maybe I'm thinking about this too simplistically, but at the beginning of the second runoff, there were three people in the runoff - me, Jaz, ZIG - and two people with open votes - me and Bacon. If Bacon were mafia, it seems to me like voting for me would have been the best move. If he votes for me, I have a 1 in 2 chance of selecting his mafia cohort (or 2 in 2 - I don't know...). If he votes for one of the people that isn't me, he's guaranteeing where my vote goes. This is either a huge mistake on his part (if he's mafia), some next level mafia shit that backfired, or the action of someone who is town and doesn't know the status of any of the three people in the runoff. I'm leaning toward option 3 right now.
This makes a lot of sense to me as well. I'm generally not a fan of Bacon's continual vote switches to even out the runoffs, as it could potentially allow him to disguise his votes under the guise of a logical strategy (and it does indeed make sense as a strategy from a townie perspective), but what you outlined seems pretty solid. It's possible that he is Mafia and was banking on the opportunity for either him or one of his teammates to move their vote, but then was unable to do so because of Zig's post, but I find that less likely at this point.

I want to see at least one of the Bacon/JR/Monky trio go forward into a runoff, and feel slightly safer about Monky than I do JR and Bacon already has a vote.

I'm glad I avoided throwing a tantrum last night after reading the events that occurred. I figure I don't have much time left (and really don't think this runoff should last over the weekend - I'd ask the ref to end it in the 36 hour deadline which means around 9pm CST tonight).
Since I think I'll be leaving, I'm going to go through the thread as much as I can and point out the things that I think can help the town.
What do you mean by this? There were three single votes - you could have joined me and voted for Jimmy, creating a 5 way. You could have joined LD and made a 5 way voting JR in.
if I were to have stacked to 5, my options were stack with LD onto JR or stack with you onto Thor. Neither seemed like a good option. I was suspicious of LD so I didn't want to push the person he was voting for into the runoff. I didn't want to stack with you because I didn't want to leave LD with the lone swing vote to start D1R2.
We know ZIG is mafia. His vote was left open and he complained about the runoff, but when I asked him why he didn't join LD or me to create a 5 way, he said he was suspicious LD but declined really to reference Jimmy. The hesitation to leave LD with the lone swing vote, in a 5 way Day One first runoff, rings pretty hollow to me, because I think one would need to expect that there would be a few vote switches to shuffle the next runoff around.
Dr. Joe JR pretty much did the work for me. I wanted to see someone out of JR/Monky/Bacon go forward, and I had slightly more suspicion on JR than the other two. I can kinda sorta see what he said about Zig being in response to Krissy, but I also see what Krissy's saying about wanting to tie the Zig post to a townie ASAP. Potent's play seems erratic to me, but that's kinda par for the course for him, and some of the things his says do make sense to me. Really having a hard time knowing what to think about him.

What I like about quoting is that you can see, down to the exact second, when someone posted something. This is the post where ZIG makes his mistake and I first call attention to it. There are 114 seconds between ZIG making the mistake and me first calling it out. This is the reason that both Carini and Jimmy vote for me. Carini says that I have shown in the past that I'm willing to vote out my fellow mafia (which I have - no debate about it) and that I was able to make this cunning, crafty decision in 114 seconds. Keep in mind, there's a Jaz post too between ZIG's mistake and my calling attention to the mistake, so I read Jaz post too before I posted.
Jimmy, meanwhile, voted for me on Day One because I'm dead weight - I could be a rocket scientist in real life, for all he knows, but I'm dead weight to him in mafia. That dead weight, however, is able to make a game-altering decision in less than two minutes. This is just so incongruous and it's really frustrating for me to see that the town doesn't see it the same way.

I wish I would have joined you on your Krissy thoughts, because it certainly makes more sense (especially to me) that ZIG was responding to her than responding to me. It looks like that will cost me an opportunity to contribute more to the town in this game.

At this point, bacon still needs to vote. Considering he'll be at Shaky Knees, I'm not sure when his vote will actually come in. If I ended it on the weekend (9pm tonight), there's a high chance it would cause Bacon to miss a vote. Not going to do that.
However, once Bacon makes his vote, and others lock, I'll end the round early.
I have no strong feelings towards anyone at the moment so my vote is staying where it is unless I need to move it to make another runoff happen. More votes = more info.

These are the four posts that led to ZIG's mistake, and then ZIG's mistake.
If you believe that he's responding to one of these posts in the thread instead of PM, it would make more sense for Bacon to be the one he was responding to. Timing wise, it's a 4 minute difference between me and Bacon, and then almost an hour from me to ZIG. ZIG and Bacon are voting the same way here, so ZIG could just as easily be saying that one of the Jaz voters - Carini or Thor - will have to vote with mafia ZIG and mafia Bacon to have a chance to save ZIG.
I don't think Bacon is mafia based on the vote decision he made here (voting for Jaz instead of me), but this could be the "next level mafia shit" that I talked about recently in regards to Bacon's vote here.
I think JR's attempt to try Krissy to Zig is iffy at best - even though they're trying to sniff out the inspector, I don't think "more votes = more info" is really something that a Mafia would say to another Mafia. Vote switching would obscure a potential inspector more than anything, and in the first round I've found that educated inspector guesses are based more on the comments the player makes than anything.

I don't feel confident in this move, and didn't realize at the time that I was making a deciding vote. After having reviewed what you have to say, I do continue to find JR to be more suspicious than you. I don't have certainty on who a third would be, but I also don't feel confident that Bacon should not be getting more attention at this point. I don't see why there is a target on your back, frankly.

having laid out so many possible scenarios and finding yourself plenty of concern with JR, how can you ignore bacon dropping in voting potent and moving on? smells like you maybe have been skunked.
