You saying you're going to keep your vote on him and him responding that that's dangerous for him makes sense. It's perfectly logical that he responded to you despite not clearly reading every word up to the end. I think we all know that his post wasn't well thought out.
...for the record, I called out to Monky because he is probably mafia #3. His only contribution to the whole game has been to make it clear he wasn't suspicious of Zig in spite of everyone else's suspicion, and imply that maybe we should look at LD instead.
LD wanted Zig whacked from the start. I thought that was a little suspicious, not mafia suspicious at that point but odd. Re-reading my response to you it does sound a little pithy like I was trying to defend him.
So you figure Zig is mafia for zeroing in on LD. And that will perhaps have him (LD) in the hot seat next round? LD isn't on my radar as mafia yet. Can you please elaborate more on why you think Zig is possible mafia?
Actually I just wanted some clarity on why he seemed suspicious to you.
Zig's below post is odd. How can we think we have the right or wrong people on page 2? My random pick was also only page 2. I was only trying to make it as obvious as possible that my vote was random for the sake of the runoff. One of the reasons I got lynched last game was that voted with a suspected mafia on day 1.
I would prefer a runoff of 4. It gives us the most opportunity to see more voting patterns. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the people we have. Myself (ZiG) and Potent always seem to make the Day 1 runoff for no particular reason. KrissyJo seems to have made it because this is her first game in a while. Jaz was picked at random? Seems like we are trying to shoot fish in a barrel.

As to my lack of contribution - I voted for Jaz D1R1 and never moved my vote until Zig's accidental suicide. When you move your vote from one person to another you generally post a reason. There have been a couple of people whose activity I thought seemed suspicious but they weren't in the runoffs so I'm waiting until tomorrow to start posting my thoughts.
In an effort to try and appease the Bonnaroo loyalists, The Big Capp Dogg instituted a panel to try and steer the festival's future direction. This might seem like a risky move to some, but insiders know The Big Capp Dogg has ties to the Russian Mafia. He'd simply slip 3 of his Mafia cohorts into the panel, and they'd make sure nothing was done that would hurt the bottom line. Easy.
With the Bonnaroo Restoration Panel assembled, they began their work. The first order of business was to locate the individual responsible for making The Chainsmokers the top billed EDM artist.
After hours of pouring through internal documents, the Panel made an alarming discovery. They uncovered a seemingly damnable email that traced back to one of their own, ZIG. The email was vague, but the Panel read it as saying nothing other than ZIG was responsible for The Chainsmokers booking.
After some brief discussion, the Panel decided they had no choice but to eliminate ZIG.
In a style reminiscent of the Iron Isles, ZIG was chained down in The Which Ditch. With a storm rolling through camp soon, and the rising torrent would take care of ZIG.
Elegant. Simple.
ZIG was asked for last words, but he was silent to the end.
The remaining Panel decided they needed to take shelter. The 2016 festival was merely days away, so all the infrastructure was already up. The group hunkered down in the Cinema Tent, and decided to throw on Slime City, on a recommendation from SupeЯfuЯЯyanimal .
After the climax of the movie, the Panel starts to discuss the glorious use of hot dogs and scrambled eggs in visual effects. As the group gets up to retire for the night, they make a horrifying discovery.
LD IS DEAD!
In their gore filled orgy, they didn't hear the struggle going on in the tent. Someone had murdered LD.
The Panel all look accusingly at each other, not sure what to make of the situation.
Here's what we were looking at before Zig outed himself. I feel very safe in regards to Potent right now both because he voted for Zig and because in Zig's post he seemed to be referring to saving only himself, not himself and someone else. I feel like if Potent was Mafia with him he would have said something about moving votes onto me. And also because Potent was the one to bring up Zig's flub.
Then there's Zig's Final Four post, which now we can assume has no more than one Mafia in it. He wouldn't bring attention to both of his teammates I don't think, but it would make sense to name one person in case he had to use it for distancing later in the game. Those four were - LD, Monky, JR, and Bacon. We know LD was town. So I'm thinking either ONE or ZERO of Monkey/JR/Bacon is Mafia. As I posted previously, I think it's interesting that all three of the still living in that group were voting for me. Which brings me to:
The vote splits. We don't know how they split up their votes. It's possible that both Tainted and Krissy are Mafia and Zig's post was expressing apprehension about them moving their votes, but as stated, his apprehension was about them all voting the same way. So that doesn't necessarily mean that their votes would have to move. Regardless, after his posts they would have pretty much been forced to keep their vote on him. But I don't think that's the most likely scenario; they probably had their votes spread out more.
So was it [two votes on me, one on Zig], [two votes on Jaz/Potent and one on the other not-Zig], or [one vote per person]? I don't feel confident enough to lean towards any one of those scenarios right now. I do, however, feel confident that there is one Mafia out of Monky/JR/Bacon - but not more than one. Which would then leave one Mafia out of Tainted/Krissyjo/Thor/Carini (having ruled out Potent and myself [if you don't feel like I'm cleared that's fine, but from my perspective obviously I'm not going to include myself as a potential Mafia]).
I want to look over voting patterns first before placing my vote, but I wanted to leave this here for people to mull over.
So we finally get a lady playing Mafia again and the first chance we can, we put her in a runoff. With no real compelling evidence that she's Mafia. Good job you idiots.

It's always interesting when players in the run-off are the players that were single votes, often a self preservation technique which doesn't say much about suspicions but I'd like to see further scrutiny on Zig and Potent. It's also my opinion in that situation its better to force the situation than let those players set the course.

So in the space of 20 minutes, we've gone from Zig having the most votes to a runoff between Jaz and Potent. I'm all about getting people to talk and stirring things up, but that's just an interesting of a turn of events to me.
I don't disagree, I'm trying to get a 3 way run-off, but I don't have particularly strong feelings about anyone right now so my votes have mostly been to increase activity and keep the votes balanced. Right now I'd probably want to see Jaz and Zig in the run-off most

I guess that would be logical, given most of that occurred prior to zig PMing the thread. I'm just weary of knocking two people to the "nearly confirmed town" on day 2 dawn, but the evidence seems to support it.

I need to sleep and reread but you're right, that was seemingly going in a singular direction prior to the spill.
Normally I'm not one for reciprocating second round votes but i havent had much time to look at everything. In my mind there are a handful of people that could be mafia and a couple that are definitely innocent.
