Thanks Live Nation. Fewer bands, later start times, shorter sets......oh and a Miguel, SuperJam, RL Grime overlap. I guess I we should have expected LN would do something to negatively effect the best festival out there.
I did some rough figuring comparing the 2011 lineup to this years and it looks like there is an average of about 6 hours less music each day (Fri-Sun) across the 5 main stages. 2016 totals around 88 hours music for the weekend while 2011 was about 105. The What Stage features about 20 hours this year compared to 24 in 2011. The Which Stage has 19 hours compared to 24.5 in 2011 and the 3 tents combine for around 48 hours this year compared to 57 in 2011. Day-by-day Friday runs about 33 hours vs. 37 in 2011, Saturday has 25 compared to 33, and Sunday is 30 vs 35.
