Man, they've had it for 20 years there and now it's not allowed. That's gonna be weird for some people. I've always connected that amazing skyscapers/skyline as backdrop with UMF, there are not many festivals like that have been running for such a long time.
Ultra is in big trouble if Bayfront is out of the picture. No way you’re fitting +50k people a day at Virginia Key. I doubt people are gonna want to trek 45 minutes south to Homestead in an area where hotels and activities are sparse. If Rolling Loud was any indication, the logistics at Hard Rock are gonna be a mess. Plus, the city has been trying to kill Ultra for years now. Most of the old crowd down here hates it and views it as a nuisance.

STACKED
bolded above is a good point, and something that is lost on more mainstream festivals.
pretty much the only artists i wouldn't be interested in seeing on this lineup are Erykah Badu and Beach House, but even them I wouldn't mind. Everyone else I would like to see, with a significant percentage of those I'd be excited to see. i can't say that about many festival lineups these days.
So the FAQS have it running from 5pm to 5am (which is awesome, btw). Do the headliners go on before 1 with dj's to follow or is it all mixed in?
E: Subscribed to that offical playlist, too. Thanks for that.
The past few years the headliners played in the evening up to 11 or midnight. Curious how they program it with more headliners this year, but guessing the later sets will be reserved for the DJ sets.

Hoping you're right on the nose. Most of the electronic festivals I've attended has been that way but I never take it for granted.
Also stoked I get to rock my fanny pack for a few days, too.
