Am I the only one who'd see all the headliners? I love this lineup.
SZA, Tyler, A$AP Rocky do nothing for me. Seen em all numerous times before and not that big of a fan to begin with. Erykah Badu I WANT to be excited for, but if she's anything like the other two times I've tried to see her, she'll come on stage 30 minutes late, play for 15min, then peace out.
I think I'm just most disappointed by there not being an electronic headliner due to this fest really being my only chance to see one live with D4N dying. Would be my only chance now to see someone like The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, Massive Attack, Aphex Twin, etc, without having to deal with some obnoxious festival crowd at something like Ultra or Lollapalooza.

FWIW I've seen her at two festivals in the past couple of years and she was great at both. The most recent time I saw her they cut her mic off because she went well over the curfew.
I agree to disagree with the person who has seen the show like four times and whose name is wufinancial an Only Built 4 Cuban Linx live fest set is not unique

and let's be real for a second: Lolla isn't booking those acts any time soon. Maybe The Prodigy.
Anyone got a playlist they started to help with names I don't know?
I second this. I know zero names besides the top line, James Blake, Virtual Self, and Honey Dijon. Who's good? This looks interesting, plus I'm close by.

What type of music do you like?
Personally I can listen to a lot of stuff. Hip-hop, electronic, chill, jam, indie, rock. I'm not picky (unless it's country)
The Rusty Pelican has arguably the best view in town. It sits right above a Marina that looks out from a causeway onto all of biscayne bay and downtown miami. This is a good spot for lunch or a sunset dinner.
Prime 112 is a super trendy steakhouse on south beach, right on ocean drive and the heart of beach activity. You're liable to see a few celebrities on any given night there. I've never been personally, but from what i hear, the food is incredible, and being within a mile of virtually every club, bar, theater, and lounge in south beach, makes it an ideal place to have dinner before whatever else you want to partake in that the beach has to offer. You can literally walk across the street to Wet Willie's. The Clevelander is 4 blocks away.
A personal favorite of mine is Chef Adrienne's. It's a classic style vineyard. Regularly voted one of the best restaurants in town. The main issue is accessibility, as it is pretty deep in the southwest part of the city, about 25 miles from downtown miami and even further from the beach.
As a general tip, id suggest eating as much as possible from local latin eateries, and eschewing fancy sit down places altogether aside from Valentine's day. Miami has (probably) the best Latin American cuisine on earth, and the best of it is offered in small mom-and-pop joints.

Thanks so much. This is a great starting point.
My food "must eat" lists tend tend to be longer than my festival "must see" lists. I'll add these and start checking out menus.
Totally plan on eating those local hotspots, too. I haven't been to Florida in years and Miami in decades. One thing I still talk about is the Cuban food and how I'll never find anything like that again.

Sounds like Ultra Miami probably isn't happening next year. Should help with sales to this. But they really should have booked a big electronic act on top.

UMF released a statement emphasizing that Ultra will still happen on the stated dates, fwiw.
They just need to find a new venue besides Bayfront Park.
