I broke my finger Thursday night in that CORNCORNCORNCORN batting cage, had to tape it up all Roo. Leave the batting cages and bobble heads and bring back the swing set!

Actually, there was a bounce house once, briefly. Someone sneaked one into Centeroo and inflated it before security were able to confiscate it. 2013 or 2014 I think, maybe near The Other tent, but I don't really remember where or when I saw it exactly, because Bonnaroo.
A swing set sounds wonderful, but like a major liability.

Ah yes, I remember that bounce house in the crowd too. Can't remember what show it was either though.
Think the dudes got it in on a golf cart they "borrowed" somehow.

Making it all the way around & over the bar is one of my bucket list items. I'm hoping to do it around the age of 70. Roo would be the most awesome place to break the shit out of my hips!
I think the bounce house was 2013. Maybe during tame impala's set at The Other. We had a trampoline on our groop site last year. Saw some pretty horrific wipeouts but drunks evidently don't get hurt as much in accidents due to their relaxed "go with it" state of mind. With only 46000 attendees there should be room for a whole playground. With flushable toilets nearby of course.
Definitely wasn't Tame, bc I missed their set that year. But they might have done it for multiple shows as well.
I remember it being dark, and do want to day it was at The Other. For some reason EDM is what I'm associate with that memory.
The swingsets were there in '04, and maybe '05? Not sure about the first two years. It was either '05 or '06 when the playground was set up, but fenced off. The story I remember blamed the mulch . . . levels of something bad (cyanide?) were too high in the mulch which had been placed under the equipment and no one was allowed on it. The playground hasn't been back since.

Agreed. One of my favorite Bonnaroo memories is swinging peacefully at sunrise when things were just winding down. I miss them. The year they were there, but on the other side of a line you couldn't cross was the worst!
