Hello friends. Looked around a bit but couldn't find anythings specific enough for what I am reaching out to yall for. Looking for ideas on best use of our camping area and I know many of you are far more professional than we are! We used to do RV but last year switched to VIP. This year there will be three couples, three sites and we are parking in VIP accessible lot (f*** you cancer). We will all come in together of course to be right next to each other but struggling to figure out how best to do this. Collectively, we have 6 canopies (4-10x10 and 2-9x9). We have about 10 tarps all at least 8 x10 in size, two considerably larger. We have plenty of tapestries as well so with all of that, we have flexibility in how to set up. Should we put out three vehicles long ways across the very front of our three campsites and use the remaining space for tents and social area? Should we put all three cars in one campsite and use the other two for our area? Just go the traditional set up of two canopies with a car up front for all three of us? Thought about putting canopies in the far corners of the first and third site and then the third set of canopies in the middle as well. Then any open spots between the canopies can be covered with tarps to make one long camp. Thanks for any input or ideas. I am also a little thrown off by not knowing the anticipated size of our campsite. VIP was bigger than GA to start (supposedly 15x30 but not quite last year). I saw a update that GA accessible sites are going to be 20x20 this year so not sure how big the VIP accessible sites are. I put an email in this morning to ask but no reply yet. Three more sleeps!!
Last year we went in with about 7 other cars (I am in VIP as well), we made sure to tell them that we are all camping together. We all setup next to each other and then tweaked our setup to make a HUGE living space area. We all parked on the same side and setup our tents behind the car and then the canopy behind the tents. We zip tied our canopies together to have as little space so we would all be shaded. Then we used our tarps on the outside to block the sun.
It worked out really well, unfortunately I don't have any pictures to show. We are planning on doing this again this year. I hope this helps you out.

Thanks for the input. Thinking its down to three cars all in the one campsite and the other two we tweak to make the most space or set the cars up lengthwise at the front of the three, like a car wall, then use the rest. I think it will be more overall space that way, but longer and more narrow and not as social. Probably will just figure it out when we get settled in and see how much space we have once we get there.
