The singular reason we splurged was for AC, guess what, it's hotter in the tent than outside. Save your money. Here's a reality if anyone from Roo is actually reading. In order to properly cool tentage you have to start with two things, using white canvas, and properly venting said tentage. These high peaked, DARK colored tents that have almost no ability to vent hot air, so you've lost the battle before you've started.
If you doubt me, take a walk through and look at those napping outside of the tents....
I understand it's hot, but having spent a fair amount of time in the desert I know how to camp "without AC" and the fact is our car camping experience was much more comfortable.
Oh and one additional thing, you need a secondary tent covering that acts like a shade with a gap between it and the tent. This adds shade which of course is the gold standard for camping in direct sunlight.

You knew exactly what the hell you were buying lol. you bought a souvenir tent in a prime camping location, not a souvenir tent with a screened in porn, canopy over said tent, and air conditioning unit.

that's exactly what they advertised,Air conditioned tents! It was always 95-99 degrees in our tent with the ac running all the time. I felt it was cooler outside then in our "air conditioned" tents. We complained and basically Was told there was nothing they could do. Nobody's ac worked, completely useless

Wait so did you buy the Le Bon Souvenir Tent, or the Luxury Tent?
Was the Cinema Tent's AC working at least? I remember almost freezing to death in there one night (yeah granted it was night) in 2012.
Yea but 2012 was a very significantly and oddly cold year in general.
Yeah I remember it being a good weather year overall if you don't mind the occasional rain shower (which I didn't.) Just wondered how it was in there with the heat advisory this weekend.

We didn't buy souvenir tents, we rented onsite tents on elevated pads, that were supposed to be air conditioned. They completely failed and it was indeed a wasted expense that we shall not repeat. It's a warning to those in the future who choose that avenue. I will once again retrain to car camping with my 10x20 portable shade that was much cooler than an AC setup incorrectly.
We too used the other venues, and the central fountain to cool down. There was absolutely no way to do so in our camp during the afternoon. All the proof you needed was the number of people sleeping outside their so called air conditioned tents.
On a side note all of the staff and volunteers were great!

It was working. Went in there 3 times to cool down.
Between the fountain, showers, the cinema tent and my baby pool at camp, I was not miserably hot. The cinema tent nap was clutch for me on Sunday. I forgot how amazing AC was until that nap.
