This has been without a doubt the shittiest audience of any Bonnaroo. I've ever been to. Not one ounce of energy of any kind. As I write this the entire What stage is SILENT for the Dead show. I know it's hot but fuck man. The only thing that got anyone goin was the EDM late night. Scene is dead man. I'm done. Fuck you Live Nation
I'm in the pit and everyone here is loving it and dancing a good amount, I guess things are much more sparse in the back.
I'm in the back and there's a lot of people here. It's only sparse in the same way attendance has been visibly down everywhere. But I'm fairly confident there are more people at this set than the other two headliners.

To be fair, if you're posting on Inforoo while at a set, you're part of the problem.

How about fuck people that want me to dance to everything 24/7. Different people enjoy music different ways. My way happens to be the awkward white guy head bob and the occasional fist bump in the air.

This. I totally agree. People enjoy in different ways. I actually liked the crowd for most part. There definitely was a younger crowd here this year but they seemed to share the BONNAROO spirit... Even if they all weren't dancing.

Why the fuck are you guys even posting while you're watching a show anyways? Especially from the pit?!
People need to learn to put the phone down during a set. Seriously guys. Enjoy the fucking moment, don't post on inforoo about bonnaroo while you're at bonnaroo. You have 360 other days to do that.
I thought it was an extremely diverse crowd this year. Between the relative ease to get up front and the lack or lines, this was one of my favorite years in terms of the crowd.
I would not call it worst... I hope everybody who went got to see the bands they wanted to see and that their was plenty of good views of the stages. To me it is about the music first...
I saw a special on cbs yesterday morning about dead & Co., it was short but very entertaining. I think they are worthy of a headlining spot, it does not hurt to have John Mayer backing your band. He's an excellent guitarist.

I was posting during the set break and I was bored. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Same here, I was by myself in the pit. Had some down time.

Girl quit playing with this "put away your phone at concerts" business. I've seen your Snapchat when you go to shows. It's basically a livestream.

This made me laugh because I'm also incredibly guilty of this.

This post was complete bs. I was deep into the what field dancing with a ton of people. There was a perfectly normal combination of people dancing, head bobbing, standing still, and unconscious on the ground. Find a video of the Fidlar crowd in the extreme heat if you think the Roo audience was flat this year.

It has been my experience that dancing is always reduced considerably during set break.
I watched each headliner from the VIP mound and - of course I don't have hard numbers - the crowd for the Dead seemed visually to be much larger than than it was for either Pearl Jam or LCD

I was in that FIDLAR crowd. My shirt is permanently ruined, my sunglasses broke, and my friend lost his wallet (later found). It was fucking awesome.

I don't post on inforoo about hating the crowd while attending a show. To me, snapchat and FBing/Inforooing/Tweeting/Insta-ing are two totally different things. One takes up to 15 seconds at most and doesn't distract you from watching the show (except maybe watching it through the screen for those 10 seconds), the other requires you to be staring at your phone for a while while you're posting, thinking about what to write, correcting typos, etc. Two totally different things bruh.
(Also, I don't snap that much anymore unless I'm going to a "big" show. Such as New Order at the SOH recently or something like that.)
