This is actually the best I've ever felt post-Roo. No Bonnaflu symptoms to speak of so far, and yesterday I didn't feel like a gigantic ball of tired shit! Though really that just means that I could have stood to see more shows on Sunday.

Last year I got destroyed by the bonnaflu, so very happy to not be feeling any symptoms this year. I also took off work today for the first time and I'm never going back to work on tuesday again, it has been great having the extra day to rest

Mild bonnaflu but not bad. Sore as hell and have a blister on my foot from walking back and forth from Pod 10 every day (and getting my sanuks too late to break them in), but fine overall.
Felt like I was hit by a freight train on the ride home. Coughing, sneezing, body aches, sore throat and have lost my voice. The dust and pollen really fucked me up. But had an amazing time and will definitely do it again. The experience was totally worth the heat, brutal sun and bonnaflu.
I'm sharing in sympathy Bonnaflus over here. Super bad sinus issues (per usual). I've never actually used a neti-pot before. I've attempted once, but it was a weird and uncomfortable feeling that made me gag so I stopped. Is it really worth trying? What's the "secret" for getting around that gagging feeling?

Tilt your head forward a bit so the water doesn't run down the back of your throat.
Also, are you using distilled water and some sort of salt mix like this?
My co-worker swears by using one of these squeezy bottles over a neti pot:

I'll look and see what I can find here. Their meds here are a little different than whats available in the US. But I'm getting ready to walk down the the pharmacy now and see whats there. I think that smaller one may be easier for me, so I'll look for that!
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
Maybe only having 35,000 attendees cut down on the amount of germ-sharing so Bonnaflu isn't as bad this year.
Plus the new bathrooms had sinks! Couldn't hurt
I actually thought about that on Sunday. If you eat vendor food at Bonnaroo, a good portion of it is food you eat with your hands. By Sunday, you may have used hand san or baby wipes but a majority of people haven't actually washed their hands with soap and water since Wednesday. Given this, eating food with your hands is probably a bad call.
I have a bit of a sore throat but I've been having problems with that before roo. I think this is the best I've ever felt after roo. I'm going to credit it to staying in a hotel Sun. night and recommend everyone to do that. Being able to take 2 showers and sleep before driving home was key.

i used to use that one! It's the same as the pot. I wish I could still use it. My sinuses hate me every day.
I doubled up on my allergy/asthma meds this weekend, and other than still blowing Bonnaroo out my nose, I am fine.
As far as the neti pots, I can't use that. I hate that stuff with a passion, it is so uncomfortable and painful to even try. My nose has been broken three times and it can't go from one side to the other so it comes out my eyes instead. Probably has to do with my nose and not the neti pot though.
About a week before roo, I start taking allergy meds. This year I didnt, and didn't take any at roo (we had a dusty camp too) and was fine. I'm basically just sleepy. I didn't even get a sunburn this year. My legs held up pretty well bc I'd been training for a full marathon so all the walking didn't bother me. My feet were swollen on Sunday so i spent the day with my feet propped. I cannot wait until Tomorrow when i can sleep all damn day.
I've been hoarse all week and today I'm feeling rough. Super tired and respiratory crap. I took cough medicine last night, hoping it would help me cough up some stuff. I haven't had the bonnaflu since 2009
