Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
This show was too amazing to not have its own thread, even after the fest.
Seriously, thank you to everyone who hyped this set prior to roo. Hadn't heard a note prior to putting on those Silent Disco headphones, but was entranced from the very start.
From the sound of it, Inforoo held down a sizeable chuck of the audience. Curious to see who was all there.
But if there are two people who I hope are on the boards, it's 5th Element Girl and my "rival".
5th Element Girl is pretty self explanatory, she had an amazing costume as Leeloo in the white strap dress. Your costume was amazing, A+.
For my rival (can't think of a better word), he was just this guy who made a few goofy faces trying to make people laugh. He shared his vape with me, and I made it my mssion to crack him up a few times.
One time, I stood across the dance floor, just staring at him. When he finally noticed me, I ripped my sunglasses off in a dramatic-TV-courtroom manner. Just weird little stuff like that.
I'm actually glad Tame ended early, I was in the Silent Disco 5 mins after it was over.
This is a pic of myself and Rummy, walking back to camp after sunrise that morning. I look pretty haggard, it was a rough night. But if you saw the below fellow dancing up to you, offering some corn on the cob, hi!

I really really want to find Fifth Element Girl. It is, in fact, perhaps my destiny.
This set was a highlight of what I think I consider to be the best day-into-night of live music I've ever experienced. LCD>Purity Ring>Blood Orange>Lane 8 was such a beautiful hodgepodge of music that deeply resonates with me and provided SO much fucking dancing. Loved it all.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

I totally forgot this was happening and went to the end of Blood Orange after Tame Impala. Oof! Not that Blood Orange was bad, I just think I'd have had more fun in the disco.
About time we had some quality trance and progressive on the farm. Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come
Lane 8 isn't trance or progressive (unless you're using the older definition when artists like Sasha & Digweed were considered progressive house). By today's definitions, Lane 8 is deep house.

I guess I'm showing my age because that's exactly who I would liken him to.

Was only able to make it from about 3am until he finished. Really, really wish he just went until the morning. That set could still be going now, a week later, and I would still be dancing.

I remember seeing Lane 8's name pop up in association with Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep, two record labels I used to love and have gone downhill, and I figured he wasn't that special. I attended an ODESZA Miami Music Week event in 2015, and Lane 8 played directly after them. Wow, what a set. He throws a mix of progressive, deep, and tribal-ish tech house and makes it work really well. His album from last year was also pretty good.

This set was the perfect way to end friday night, wish my legs could have held up all the way to the end. Also shout out to the girl dancing without headphones on for 20 minutes, then when her friend gave her headphones she left 5 minutes later.
