Really sucks that this festival doesn’t allow re-entry. On Sunday I’d love to go in for Kelly Lee Owens at 1pm then go chill at home til the later sets.
How was the weekend? Bummed I wasn’t able to make it but did catch DJ Stingray on Friday night in Phoenix. He was great!
Awesome! This was my first CRSSD which ended up being my Bonnaroo replacement. It was cloudy all weekend but coming from AK, no complaints from me. Favorite sets were Boys Noize, Sasha & John Digweed, ANNA, The Midnight and Park Hye Jin. Not really a bad set the entire, maybe except for Paul Kalkbrenner. He wasn't bad, I just wasn't feeling it. Also hit up the Jon Hopkins aftershow at Spin (not really the best venue for him) and Boys Noize at Rich's (which was super fun). I'll definitely come back again sometime.
I dunno, I don't see a whole bunch of crossover from people going to PSLA or TANP and CRSSD. except me, I guess lol
More like their line up announcement will get buried because of these festivals going at it.
or... everyone looking for house and techno at PSLA and TANP and coming away disappointed will flock to CRSSD. it could go either way. I don't think CRSSD really cares about press as much as goldenvoice and live nation since they will sell all their tickets in a day either way no matter when they anounce.
The Avalanches just delayed their US tour until the fall for health reasons. Not that we were planning on them, but I think we can safely assume they’re out. Granted they still don’t have an LA date.
Fall CRSSD is already shaping up pretty nicely assuming Avalanches makes it onto the fall lineup with Moderat.

I was hoping to do Spring CRSSD, with Picnic and Primavera LA already a fall option for myself, but if Moderat and the Avalanches are essentially confirmed for fall then it’s going to take some serious heat and a dud of a Coachella electronic lineup to get me to attend spring CRSSD at this point.
On the bright side the Bicep tickets I purchased for their LA show are selling for like $225 a piece right now. I guess I could sell those and just go to spring CRSSD for free essentially.

honestly, it's going to take a really great lineup for me to get to CRSSD in either spring or fall since 2022 is already so busy. but I guess we'll see! CRSSD is a pretty easy festival for me since I live within driving distance and don't need to get a hotel or anything, but still!
I wonder if we should consider Soulwax for fall as well. since Despacio is at TANP without 2MANYDJS or Soulwax on the lineup maybe it's because Soulwax is finally going to make up that cancelation next fall? we can hope! Avalanches, Moderat, and Soulwax would get me there for sure though.

New fest in Phoenix just announced for the week of CRSSD. Contains Carl Cox, Boris Brejcha, Kaskade (redux), and Adam Beyer. Safe to assume most will be on the CRSSD lineup for spring.
