I need those day splits. realistically I can only go one day or the other so if I could just get Orbital and Moderat on one day with a few of the other acts in my previous post I would be so happy. gonna try to plan for both days, but we'll see.
This lineup is as good as I could've hoped for without having Soulwax on it. I plan to go both days unless everyone I want to see miraculously is on the same day.
I've always wanted to see The Avalanches do a DJ set and was tempted to go to Denver and see them do a DJ set opening for the Chemical Brothers that Friday. This saves me a trip.
Just noticed Romy hiding under The Palms... what is she going to do on that stage? I'm not sure what her live show is like but I thought Palms was just DJs.
Got passes through the alumni sale. $427.50 with fees for two passes.
Tip for anyone buying via desktop/laptop - don't use Firefox. When I got to the page to enter my credit card, the field wouldn't work and the purchase timed out. I forgot I had the same issue when I bought passes for the Spring 2020 fest. I switched to Edge and it worked. Last time it cost me a big chunk of change because the tier went up due to the delay but this time I got the same initial tier.

I was able to get 2 at tier 1 right now but I'm hesitant to complete the purchase because I don't know if I can make both days. Also, festival resale value lately makes me think trying to sell them might not be as easy.

last time I bought CRSSD tickets I swear they went up to tier 3 or 4 in just a couple hours. Reddit isn't a huge fan of this lineup though and I guess I can see why. usually they are all about the palms and city steps and this time it's more about the ocean view.
I feel like if you don't dig the ocean view lineup, crssd is a bullshit party. It's def what they're spending all their money on. I make it to approximately 3-4 sets on palms and 1-2 sets on city steps over the whole weekend.
Okay okay I caved and bought a ticket. Four weeks of festivals in a row whatever. Thanks for the abundance of good shit this Fall, Southern California.

Coming to Fall CRSSD officially too. Someone took my Portola tickets off me so we’re just going to do this instead due to the ease of getting there from Phoenix. Bummed I’m missing the Chems, but looking forward to catching Orbital and Moderat for the first time.
Some adds and the day splits. They had been posting that prices are going up "soon" but now they're saying limited single-day passes going on sale tomorrow. Guessing this isn't selling too well?
