This is a longshot, but here goes . . .
Myself and five of my friends were planning on driving to Roo in a SUV which we found out today has a faulty transmission. We don't have the money to fix it and none of us are old enough to rent a car.
Airport tickets are too expensive. Ditto with Greyhound if we don't buy by tomorrow (which we can't do).
So, is anyone driving from or through NJ that will be willing to give us a ride to and fro? I don't expect anyone to bring along all five of us together, and we would not mind being separated for the trip there if it means we'll be able to attend.
We will pay whatever you believe is necessary as well as gas, I can bring a GPS system if need be. We are easy-going, kind folk, ranging 19-22 years old.
Hey man, we're taking a van down to roo from the East coast of Canada. We'll be landing in NYC sometime Tuesday evening and hitting a show probably, then heading west Wednesday morning.
At this point we only have two people in a van that could possible fit 3 or 4 more. We're just betting on picking up a few people along the way to help out with gas and the vibe of the road trip!
My email is let.down.hanging.around@gmail.com, so we should get in touch and maybe work out some way to help both of us get to roo easily!

Hey- I’m driving from NYC down to Philly on Wednesday early afternoon. Meeting 6 friends in Philly for the drive down in an RV. Happy to help if you don’t mind a slightly overcrowded RV for the ride down. Could probably fit 2. This will be our 3rd year to Bonnaroo in an RV and (knock on wood), no problems yet. As we have done in the past, our plan is to leave Wednesday night and whoever wakes up first on Monday morning gets behind the wheel to get us out of there. We also found a back entrance into the farm that only takes 2-3 in line (the first year we sat in line for 12+ hours so we did some research).
