Huge fan of Sublime's main 3 albums. All the barrel scraping of demos and barely audible live concerts is rough, like 98% crap.
But those 3 albums were/are awesome.
If Sublime w/Rome came close AND I got free tickets through like some sort of voucher-esque program, I'd probably go. But they're essentially just a first rate Sublime cover band.
There are no longer any participating shows listed within sane driving distance of me. I was able to use one of the $2.25 codes to get a 2.28% discount on Josh Ritter tickets, though. Suck it, The Man!
New Orleans shows released, I can get free tickets to any of those shows already. Ultimate Jon bon Jovi tribute? Ozzy tribute? Nirvana tribute. Fucking killing me.

wtf is up with house of rules booking a shitload of cover bands and burlesque shows now? where my country gone?

Why can't I just buy the kills with my voucher? It's at house of blues.

I've been trying to get those Duran Duran tickets but it gives me an error message. Are there specific seats I need to get to get the free tickets? GA Lawn is sold out but it is still listed as an available show.
I saw that yesterday for NOLA. What a kick to the crotch TM gave you all. Here are free tickets to shows that you would never go see to pay you back all the money you gave us for shows that cost a small fortune!

"UPDATE JUNE 22 11:30 PM EDT
At this time, nearly $5m worth of eligible ticket vouchers have been redeemed and the first wave of eligible events has been closed. Given the overwhelming interest, Ticketmaster is adding another $5m worth of eligible tickets so more class members can redeem ticket vouchers. Please check back tomorrow for additional information."
It'll be interesting to see if better shows are going to be available tomorrow. I'm hoping I get at least one more set of tickets or this lawsuit really wasn't worth it for me. Only Ticketmaster could make this settlement so complicated.

Overall, the list has been pretty bad.
I have two girls that work at HOB and they give me STACKS of tickets to these bullshit show. I would trade all 6 of my free vouchers for two tickets to the Kills, whom are playing House of Blues. The fact that there is no price value on the these vouchers (except apparently $10 not selling tribute shows) and that I can't pick which Live Nation/Ticketmaster show I want to go to, makes this the worst retribution payment in the history of settlements.

The only reason I even knew that New Orleans had shows was because one of my friends sent the list to me as a screenshot. I am so over this bullshit settlement. I will not redeem one discount code nor one voucher, and I will do everything in my power to NEVER buy a ticket to a show (festivals I am forced to now) from them again. I mean how many ways can a company fuck you over and you still use them? The discount codes don't even negate the fees they are charging to these shows. It is ridiculous.

Someone post in here when the new shows go up. I'll do it if I see them before anyone else. I didn't get any last time because I didn't realize it was a "Now or never" situation. I guess I will this time.

I couldn't get anything the first time. I was trying shows I really didn't even care about going to.
At this point, I would love to be able to use a voucher on 90s buttmetal, dad rock legends, or any arena show. Hook up some Ringling bros circus and Disney on Ice saturday tickets, MFers! Cover bands at House of Blues is actually worse than nothing.

Cooooooooooool, my codes never worked. Hopefully they'll work for the second round, but I have no faith that they will.
Clearly they're only concerned with reaching their numbers for the settlement and don't give a shit about customer service issues with these vouchers.
It’s not looking good, based on how quickly the first $5 million was given away, and how many complaints there have been about vouchers not working. The odds are a lot of people will never get the chance to claim their free tickets.
This part gets into the weeds a bit, but if you’re curious, read on. The company said on Tuesday it would provide $10 million in ticket vouchers for concerts through May 2017.
How many free tickets become available beyond that amount depends on how many of the $2.25 and $5 discount codes are used. The settlement requires Ticketmaster to pay out $42 million over four years, and no less than $10.5 million per year. Should the use of $2.25 and $5 discount codes fall short of those targets, Ticketmaster would make up the difference by releasing more free tickets.
Attempts to use the codes for discounts or free tickets on two listed events — Kenny Chesney in Virginia Beach, and the San Francisco Symphony — returned error messages on Tuesday. Many people have reported similar struggles.
How many people am I competing against?
Ticketmaster sent an estimated $386 million worth of discount codes to nearly 57 million people, according to Steven Blonder, a leading attorney on the lawsuit and a principal at the law firm Much Shelist.
Recall that the company is obligated to pay out only $42 million, and it becomes apparent that most of the vouchers will never be redeemed.
Tell me more about the $2.25 discount.
Unlike the free-ticket vouchers, you can use these toward any event sold through Ticketmaster.
You can also stack them together if you have multiple codes for a larger discount on a single order, Mr. Blonder said. (INFOROO EDIT NOTE: you cannot stack the codes for a single order. at most you can stack two.)

Sincerely, Schlesinger v. Ticketmaster Settlement Administrator
Basically: we won't email you when we put up more shows, just keep clicking the link every hour and prepare to get hosed.

Something else funny about this whole thing, is who has time to constantly check the list of available shows? Ticket brokers/scalpers, all of whom most certainly have the full 17 free ticket allotment. Since their days are spent buying tickets anyway, they could have somebody in their organizaiton constantly checking the list and then purchasing tickets using the vouchers before regular people can grab them.
I know they are will call only, but a ticket broker will have no problem going and picking up the tickets and delivering them in person before the show.
