Spoiler alert! Talked to MC Taylor of Hiss Golden Messenger last night after their show in Toronto. I mentioned that I got into them after seeing them at Newport and he said they're planning on coming back this year "unless anything weird happens". Super happy about this, they were incredible last night!

Carl Broemel and Dave Simonette did a duet of Hallelujah last night to close out their show in Philly and it was unreal.
Oh man, I saw Tanya's post on FB that night. That was gorgeous. That's easily one of my favorite songs and sung by two of my favorite artists? I so wish I was there. So jealous of you guys.

I was so excited when I saw that article yesterday, but it's kinda click bait-ish. It doesn't tell us much at all. We might sorta kinda get an album or a film. Someday. Maybe.

I got a new credit card a few weeks ago with a minimum to hit in the first few months in order to get huge point bonus. Within the past week, I have bought tickets to two festivals and two shows- and will be buying this Wednesday. I am not sure why I was worried about hitting that minimum...

I think I may buy ticket(s) in the pre-sale. No matter what I tend to plan on going but then things come up. If I need to sell them to another person it seems more than easy since it sells out and is always a hot ticket.
I got a new credit card a few weeks ago with a minimum to hit in the first few months in order to get huge point bonus. Within the past week, I have bought tickets to two festivals and two shows- and will be buying this Wednesday. I am not sure why I was worried about hitting that minimum...
I got the Chase Sapphire Reserve Travel card or whatever...it was $4k in 3 months to get a $1,500 travel credit...
yeah...with all the concerts and home renovations, definitely hit that in the first month. Oops.

yeah...with all the concerts and home renovations, definitely hit that in the first month. Oops.
Yup. Chase Sapphire Preferred (which is all about the travel perks). 4K in 3 months. And it's for 50k points, not a specific dollar value although I think they say it's about $650 in airfare. As a single woman without even a fish to buy for, I was worried. I shouldn't have been I just got my first bill for $1,400 and that's not even including these three fests, the shows and I still need to buy my flight for OBH (I did charge some work stuff there instead of my work card like I usually do). I'll hit it noooo problem! I am probably over 2.5 will almost 2 months to go.

Nice, we did it when we got something like double points - or however it is. We're flying to Europe next year on points roundtrip. Can't beat that!
