If you're going to a Killers set in 2017 does it really help if they have "new material"? The Killers are there to play the classics - they know it and the audience knows it.

Absolution and Black Holes and Revelations are both pretty solid albums with some great songs, but I can't say I ever go back and listen to them. Props to Muse for sticking together after so long, seeing a bunch of random dudes up there with Brandon Flowers is pretty lame.

Random dudes? Only replacement is for their bass player brah

New keyboard player too brah but you just dont get anybody to play that sick Somebody Told Me bass riff
Where are people thinking Liam is gonna get scheduled?
I'm worried he closes the Grove. I'm sure most are okay with that but I actually wanna see Muse so I'd rather not have them go against each other. I'd pick Liam if I had to but I'm hoping he closes the Lakeshore stage in the corner of the South field. Would be an easy move from him over to Muse. Real interested to see his setlists too. He keeps talking like he's gonna mix in some Oasis tunes with his new solo stuff. I never had a chance to see Oasis when they were still touring so this is probably the closest it gets.

A touring musician? Seriously?
lol dude, do you really think I care that much? I just think its cool that Muse have been together since they were basically kids and that they've stuck together all the way to headlining festivals and stadiums. Matt Stoermer was a cool bass player, its a bummer he isn't touring with The Killers any more, but I really don't care about it that much.

It's only a matter of time before the Oasis reunion train leaves the station.

Word, I guess it has to be Lakeshore or Grove closer. I bet Spoon gets Grove and Liam gets Lakeshore which is ideal for me.
I saw Oasis on the 02 tour and they weren't great, but I've heard they varied a lot night to night and that Beady Eye was solid.
Also, I never noticed how predictable the scheduling is at the top of the card. Last two acts on the main stages and the Perry's closer were in the top 5/6 each night last year.

Pretty much.
But this is a good chance to hear some songs off of Be Here Now that probably won't make it to the reunion tour.

It is sweet they've been together since their teenage years. But, is it as sweet as answering an ad in the classifieds for a singer? As sweet, if not sweeter. *wank*
2017 Shows Sam Roberts Band, Wilco, Local Natives, Ryan Adams(!), Chance the Rapper, Future Islands, Frightened Rabbit, TOOL, Field Trip Music Festival, Gary Clark Jr., Arkells w/July Talk, Gorillaz, Tom Petty, Metallica, Muse, Incubus, Lollapalooza (!!!),Kings of Leon, Deep Purple & Alice Cooper, Father John Misty, War on Drugs
Zero issue with the lineup at all. Safe like most have said. Headliners worked out pretty much perfect for me given I could only go Thurs and Sun, plus I'll be seeing Lorde, The XX, and Chance at Roo. May need some suggestions for that undercard for Sunday though. Other than The Shins and Carseat, I don't know a lot of acts on there that are super interesting. I'd see Milky Chance, London Grammar, and Grouplove but I'd rather not tbh. Help a brotha out. Also Liam better not close The Grove during Muse.
I don't know tons of the Sunday undercard either but check out Rag N Bone Man.
You might have seen he got a guest spot on the new Gorillaz album.
