Though I had a great time this year, if I decided to fly to an east coast festival next summer I think I might choose to check out Osheaga and Montreal instead based on the feedback from people in that thread. Lineups should have tons of overlap again, and I think I can live with avoiding the Lolla crowd for another 5+ years.
Better???? (cause I agree on Mumford not being on Bud Light, and too soon for Skriilly/CH)
Ridic conflicts, I agree. I'd go with the bolded most likely though. If I saw AF earlier in the year at Roo, I'd probably go with MMJ to close out Sunday though.

Hey first time posting here and have been to the last 4 lolla's. Someone over in the coachella subreddit found this www.lollapalooza.com/tag/daft-punk-and-jay-z/ along with one for just daft punk.
I feel like they might be too big for Riotfest, but they have had some big #1s in the past like No Doubt and The Cure, so who knows. I would absolutely love that top 4.

Depeche Mode's European tour ends less than two weeks before Lolla. That seems pretty suspicious for them to play Lolla next year. Green Day is playing in IL in mid Spring, and based on their tour dates for the summer so far, it looks like they're overseas. I think Riot got them, I mean The Cure is expensive and was a number one at Lolla and Riot. The Original Misfits surely weren't cheap. And No Doubt is up there for their pricetag too.
