i would love to read an anthropologist's take in about 20 years regarding the Liam and Migos shows, respectively. They were both fascinating.
Migos was 1/4 as crowded and 1/8 as hype at Boston Calling.
"Archaeologists discovered the remains of what they described as four adolescent males aged 15-17 in the area that was Grant Park in Chicago. The skeletal remains were found in a circle, each with one arm extended out, with their other arm crossed over their eyes indicating some form of prayer or ritual. The archaeologists would later determine the cause of death to an over exposure of either heat or light, text uncovered by the scientists show the deceased last words were 'Lit 🔥💀', however the exact translation has been lost."

I would not be upset if Cage headlines major festivals one day even though I'm not a huge fan. Every album has consistent hits, and they bring the fucking energy.
Great first day until the evacuation. Temples put on a fucking fantastic show! Hopefully they find a way to make up Lorde and Muse's sets
Muse tweeted out that they hope Lolla books them next year to make up the show. And someone on reddit claimed Lorde was going to try to find a venue for an aftershow, but that seems doubtful to me....

Cage needs just a little more popularity on this next album and they can totally headline some fests. While I think they never topped that first album, they are always full of energy and have a lot of great sing-a-long songs.
For those of us not fortunate enough to be in Chicago, here's an updated list of confirmed artists for the live stream. It's on Red Bull so probably one channel on Thursday and 3 channels Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The schedule will be in Live Steam thread in the root Music Lounge once I get it. This is from KROQ:

Melophobia to me is by far their best album. Tell Me I'm Pretty felt like they took a step back, so I feel like their next album needs to do better.
She's been there the last few years. I can't remember when exactly she started going.
She skipped Radiohead for Major Lazer last year. I'very defended Obama on a lot, but that's just bad parenting
Maddog was next to a couple last year at ACL. One guy wanted to skip Radiohead to go to Lazer. His boyfriend was being suuuuuper nice about it. A lot nicer than I would have been. He was just like "I really like this band."

Loving this Tegan and Sara set. Wasn't a big fan of the sudden style change for the last 2 albums but they've been playing quite a few oldies - Back in Your Head, Living Room, Call it Off, Northshore and Alligator so far. Hope they play the Con too.
