Agreed, and I'm not even really a casual fan at this point. I watched a live stream last year and also have limited exposure to The xx which I've only streamed a couple of times. I really don't understand music lovers who are into Frank Ocean. I'm not knocking or denying his vocal talent, but it seems pretty sappy. Admittedly I didn't like similarly established acts like Keith Sweat either in their day. I totally understand his allure to casual listeners and high school kids. But it's like Weeknd as a headliner. Maybe he sells tickets or people's girlfriends want to go now. But...
Regardless of all this Frank Ocean issue, I still think Primavera has one of the best (maybe the best) lineups of 2017.

Disco Biscuits are also in the mix starting tonight for 3 nights at Ogden and ending Saturday with a Red Rocks show. Those are all free and will be running at night on one of our side by side TVs depending on what Primavera and Aphex Twin are doing. I want that fn Primavera schedule so I can organize the weekend which is mostly going to be spent in the recliner. Red Bull looks to be running two channels of Primavera, so hopefully lots of great streams are in store.
Run The Jewels on the live stream and they started off hot! Can't wait to see them at ACL.
Yeah. This is a good show. I've probably seen them 4 or 5 times and always loved them. But it seems they have achieved pretty close to HL status. I know they are only 10 on ACL which is big time sub HL but they are in my mind 2 or 3 on that already. Hopefully they get a promotion at Voodoo to Top 5 and maybe some longer sets.
