OK, so I've gotten myself into this weird situation where I'll be driving overnight from Lexington, Kentucky, to 'Roo. I am not from Lexington. I haven't been there since I was 9. (That was not recently; I think President Lincoln shook my hand.) And I haven't been to 'Roo or, for that matter, to Manchester.
How likely am I to find stops for coffee/loo/gas/food on the trip down? I think I'll be taking 65 to Nashville and then 24 the rest of the way. (Hmmm, I wonder whether White Castle in Nashville is open all night?)
Anyone know of any traffic impediments?
I'll be traveling on Thursday night/Friday morning, by the way. Otherwise, I'd be looking for a convoy with y'all. As it is, I think it'd be cool to run into other Roogoers on the way. Late-night life can be fun.
