Hey 'Squatchers (is that the right term??), I was just discussing how if Fleet Foxes happen to play Sasquatch this year I'd consider going and figured I'd come ask if anyone had thoughts on other artists that might be on the lineup.
Would like some advance warning in case I decide I should drop everything and find my way to Washington this May. Normally my Memorial Day Weekend belongs to Boston Calling, but it's about time I see this Gorge everyone raves about.
Maybe someone wants to start a 2018 thread?
you didn't see the recent sasquatch lineups?
Last year was a little rough (and still lots of great stuff on that lineup), but 2016 was pretty damn solid. Some junky pop stuff sure, but a lot more good than bad

Honestly, swap out 21 pilots for any decent headliner and that lineup looks a lot better. Friday was really solid. Looking at the rest now but I'd have probably loved it

The only logical artists based on tour dates right now are Pedro the Lion and Tash Sultana.
So I'd assume most of these are off the table for Sasquatch:
"Boston's biggest music festival returns to Harvard Athletic Complex from May 25th-27th. This year's headliners include Eminem, The Killers, Jack White, Queens of the Stone Age, The National, Paramore, Tyler, The Creator and Khalid plus so many more."
"You look like you're listening to every note." - Lady to me during LCD's "final" show 2023: Mar 29 - Guster Apr 6 - Postmodern Jukebox Apr 26 - Father John Misty May 14 - Taylor Swift (Philly) May 17 - Robert Plant and Alison Krauss July 12 - moe. July 16 - CAKE (Portland, ME) July 28-30 - Newport Folk (#12!) Dec 8-9 - Goosemas!

Last year they shared Chance and a couple undercard acts.
Also this reminds me. I ventured into the Sasquatch board last month out of curiosity and jesus christ that place is so fucking positive I wanted to vomit.

They have any leads?
Just went and checked how they were doing. Doesn't seem like anything concrete, but some strong speculation on a couple undercard acts. Namely Tyler the Creator and Tash Sultana
There's usually very minimal crossover w/ Boston Calling, so a lot should get ruled out tomorrow. The important question is where Fleet Foxes are going

So... is this actually still happening this year? Doesn't it still fall on Memorial Day weekend?
Apparently the lineup comes out on February 5.
Correct! The Sasquatch social team has been silent this year, but the lineup is coming Monday, and tickets go on sale next Saturday. No word yet on what time Monday. Last year, it was released at 12am. In years past, there have been lineup release parties on Monday night with the lineup coming out sometime between 9-11pm. At this point, it seems like it will be a random midday drop, but we don't know for sure.
