Tool was a good show last night. Production was about the best I have seen. Band was good. Almost got kicked out for taking a picture first song. They were Nazis about the no pictures or video.
May 18-20 per the website. No word on loyalty tickets.
Good Deal. Glad I booked my condo last week.
We need to work on a 2018 setlist for the inforoo singers jdstultzbeachbobsolidrock . I feel like I would do a better job with some prep time. That or maybe a few less jello shots and vodka spiked watermelon.

I'm not sure if there was any jello in chick's jello shots...tasted like gasoline and food coloring.
I'm hoping for performers more in the Mumford style. I don't know what John Mayer is making a show but, IMO, if he brings that blues trio, home run for headliner. Some undercards like Hackensack Boys, OCMS, TTB on the second line, just good "musical instrument" musicians. It only took about twenty of this type performer up and down the card to make me happy. Need a Jimmy Lumpkin/Jamell Richardson or two every year. Mutemath was awesome. Always can count on NOLA bands to kick it.

Imagine Dragons, 21 Pilots, fit the demo...meh.
If Mayer is there it will be his pop shiz show with maybe one Dead tune thrown in. The Trio is great but they aren't even headliners at hippy fests let alone Hangout.

Didn't someone mention Imagine Dragons tour was selling terribly? It's not like we're talking 21P who have a stranglehold on their corner of the music fanbase. I'm looking at Imagine Dragons tour for this fall which granted is far away but... it doesn't seem like hardly anyone has bought tickets. Every section looks like it's empty. Hopefully Wayhome ends up being the example of why they are not a headliner.

Mayer is trying to return to pop. Whatever that means. Hangout is not going to book him as a favor....a 3rd liner

Anybody want to pool $ for a pollstar subscription?

Umphrey's making my day. Sounds like they're filling in for Sphongle late night on Saturday at Roo. Rainbow Kitten Surprise-> Future Islands-> Head & The Heart-> Chance The Rapper-> Cage The Elephant-> Chili Peppers-> Umphrey's would be right up my alley.

Aw shit. What happened to Shpongle? He was supposed to be bringing the Shpongletron to Bonnaroo? I saw him once with a stripped-down version. The music on that tour didn't really do anything for me, but it was still pretty cool.
Yeah that would ev been my option in that slot originally. I would give the SJ a legit shot at first but if I wasn't feeling it I would head right to Sphongle. Word on Twitter is Sphongle had issues with his Visa. He supposedly cancelled other dates as well.

So Arcade Fire has a couple Texas shows, a New Orleans show, and 2 shows in Florida all in the fall this year... Are they probably out? not that I expected them anyway.

They seem like a pretty ideal fit that has appeal to lots of different types of fans. I don't think a September show in New Orleans (Win and Regine live here) would have any bearing on May of next year. I think they're the ideal #1 at Hangout for what they're doing these days.

Fully expecting Arcade Fire as a top liner for Hangout next year. Almost makes to much sense.
