This is right around the time when the HOF hype would begin. 3 months out, under the older lineup release process, we'd be getting artist adds/daily/which stage the acts are playing... Now just nothing. No mock schedules, nothing. The thread is dead and the fest is basically obsolete at this point. Fuckin sucks. Any word on how ticket sales are going?

It doesn’t matter. Whether it’s sold out in reality, or the realtors have to eat a bunch of tickets, they’ll say it sold out.

Lovely the band is on SXMU and it about as watered down as alt indie gets.
I saw AWOL a few years ago and it was mostly, also, a let down. Their music just didn't translate well live. It was at the new Emos East which has been known to have some sound issues so I chalked it up to that. Sail was good and one or two others but everything was just buzzing.

awolnation was one of the least enjoyable shows I've ever seen. It wouldn't have been as bad if the dude wasnt begging people to crowd surf for the majority of the show. I was pretty impressed by his ability to crowd surf on a surf board though.
My one and only Hangout is on mtv live right now. Just got home from bar and this surf stage Umph and mmj is getting me a little nostalgic. Hoping they show some Frank Turner too. Belated thanks to SparkySarah for helping me leave another set early to capture the last bit of rail for that set. Also thanks to Beachbob for sharing nachos at Slut Life stage (I know he's not on here anymore), thanks to Rcathebeach for the hospitality at the Spoon set and to other inforoosters for just being fun. Would love to go back sometime but lineup in recent years make that long trek difficult. Sigh.
Im watching late night HGTV and they're in Gulf Shores and I am really sad that this has gone downhill so much that I don't have plans to be back. And also that was a great year for Inforooers. I met you at one point with the crew.

I remember that Sunday I went Misterwives-> Frank Turner-> St. Lucia-> Griz-> TV On The Radio-> Foster The People-> MMJ-> Beck. Solid day start to finish.

i remember we made last min decision to skip St Lucia and go to the Press Hall and Friends jam which was a great decision. '15 really was underrated overall

One of my favorites! Houndmouth too! We watched part of J Roddy’s set with the Houndmouth bassist and then met J Roddy at the Cold War Kids set. Sweet lineup and a lot of fun that year. Wasn’t excited about Zac Brown but he was great too. I had always wanted to see Bohemian Rhapsody live and he did a fantastic cover.
Alas, it looks like I'll be commiserating with krisplettuce and missing out on the best Hangout line-up ever! Nobody wants to go without him and Mrs. Lettuce
saw Spoon for the first time last night (i dont count the few songs i saw here in '14) and man they were amazing. They wocked out way harder then i could have imagined and it all sounded so clean.
