Schedule is out fam. It's honestly not horrible. They put St Vinny oppo Chainsmokers which was a no brainer (her or Paak). Greta overlaps with Kendrick for some stupid ass reason though. No idea why they'd do that.
lol having a headliner play for only 75mins. Sunday would be so boring for me. Alex Lahey at 1145 then nothing til the struts at 4 the nothing til Kendrick. Seems like they added a few acts, were the Struts even on this at first?
While there is a lot of gaps there and definitely some "settling for whatever", that looks a lot better than the lineup in my opinion.
As for Kendrick getting 75 minutes, he usually performs around an hour anyway, so that's not bad. Plus he's fucking great, so you take what you get there.
Poor Greta Van Fleet. Although them on the slut life stage could be fun, but no way Id pass of Kendrick. A lot of filler stuff that I'm not even excited about. Glad I'm not going honestly after looking at this schedule.
Yeah when I looked at the sched I basically came away thinking there was enough music to satisfy me for the 3 days but legit nothing to be super excited about. So again, when factoring the expenses of the trip for us, it doesn't make any sense.

Who are you? Where did the real Estaban go???
Surprised to see the love for Noname. Must have a real loser playing opposite her. I saw her last year at Loufest & she was lousy (IMO). Maybe I just caught her on an off day. I hope that everyone who goes has a great time & has no bad po po experiences.

I thought the Noname show at Loufest was good. It was just really hot
Oh word. No ive seen her a couple times now and have no problem with her/them. I dig the band.
Sitting at Revivalists maybe as packed as I’ve ever seen jazz fest. Cage and Aerosmith will be zoos. 5th Ward Weebie was great, and DJ Jubilee. Caught a kickass CA Gaelic band. Fire.

I need to give her another shot. To me, she didn't look like the type to be wasted up on stage. At Shaky Knees right now, havin a ball! Glad you had a good time seeing her. That was a fine fest, though I liked the other venue a bit better & hope they return to it.

New map looks like they nixxed the Palladia stage or whatever it was called most recently. Also schedule looks like less acts playing the main stages each day then years prior?
Also, Greta van Fleet is no longer listed on the lineup/schedule on the official site.
We broke them at Shaky Knees.
Had fun doing it too! Great weather at a great fest During my weekend, enjoyed seeing Lillie Mae, WELLES, The Frights (liked them alot), Ghost of Paul Revere, Jimmy Eat World, Courtney Barnett, Franz Ferdinand, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Japandroids (damn fine set), Teenage Wrist, The Sherlocks (really good), Stop Light Observations, Bully (saw them play the Bud Lounge at Roo at 2 PM on a TH back in 13 or so. Boy, have they grown. That girl can belt one out!), The Fleet, Parquet Courts (Didn't know they were that good), The Distillers (damn), Andrew WK (made 3rd row by judicious moves during moshing), Matt & Kim (was on rail, center for this one. Let's just say Kim was in fine form), QOTSA, Mt. Joy, The Wild Reeds, Lukas Nelson etc. (he's got better since I saw him at Roo & he was great at Roo. Really bright future, IMO), Sir Sly, All Time Low, Basement, BRMC, & The Menzingers (wow, y'all gotta see them!).
I will also note that I saw The Voidz. How the mighty have fallen...
We’re gonna go for a couple half days with the kids. Really don’t have many on my list to see. Anyone suggest we catch additional acts on Friday/Saturday?

I'm not sure on the exact times or when you're going to be there, but
Friday: The Green is a pretty cool Reggae band. They've been around at least 10 years or so. Tash Sultana is worth your time. She's a one-man-band, multi-instrumentalist from Australia. Her Coachella stream set caught me off guard. She plays everything live and loops continuously while playing guitar, pedals, pan flutes, mandolins and what not. Check her out if you don't know her yet. She's bad ass.
Saturday: St. Vincent is great. You probably won't be out that late with the kids, but if you go back to the tent closer, it's probably going to be in the Top 4 of the weekend. I like NONAME and Anderson.Paak & The Free Nationals. A.P&TFN play lots of different types of music from power rock to jazz to soul to a little rap. He's also a great drummer. NONAME is a poet/singer and also the name of the band. They have a pretty cool band. She's usually drunk (as noted above) but she also seems to use that for stage anxiety. I find her/them entertaining, but it's a popular act among the back end of millennials and post-millennials.
