Lockn excellent. Getting to see John Butler Trio is a real treat. I want more of that at Hangout 2018. Greensky Bluegrass too. Greensky playing Pink Floyd on the beach would be a big thumbs up for me.

Yeah. I personally appreciate seeing them standing up against hate and racists. They are such a cool band, and he is a ridiculously talented guitarist. I wish they lived closer and would come back more often. Looking for Ocean of course. And right on cue.
Would I go back to Hangout? Bring me a taste of lockn. JBT, Pigeons - just a little...
Damn. Bliss.

Interesting article on front page of Tullahoma TN news. Bonnaroo contract going to negotiations. Previous ten year contract expired in June. The new contract refer to the Great Stage Park. They are adding a ten member advisory council. Claiming $37M annually from hosting the event. Additional $250,000 from $3/ ticket. $400,000 from Bonnaroo Works. The works program has kicked in $7M over 16 years. New contract includes multiple events vice just Nonnaroo in previous contract. More than 200 vendors serve people at Roo. Projects proposed is widening Bushy Brach Road, costing $6M, $2M coming from the state, and planned for 2019.
2013 - 2011 - 2012 - 2010 - 2014 - 2015 - 2017 Based on a combination of a) headliners, b) lineup, c) friends/who I am hanging out with, c) other
If I could have a 2018 with my favorite alum headliners it would be Tom Petty, Kings of Leon, Jack White (I would have picked DMB if their performance was typically good vice not so good the last time they played Hangout) Some of my favorite undercards were: Old Crow Medicine Show, Jason Isbell, Amos Lee, Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors, MMJ, String Cheese Incident, Blackberry Smoke, Gary Clark Jr, Chris Cornell, Delta Rae, St Paul and the Broken Bones, Moon Taxu, Black Crowes, Galactic with Macy Gray, Trombone Shorty, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Allison Krauss...dang...been a lot of good bands on the undercard. That list is no particular order.
Hoping our Inforoo/Hangout friends are in the dry and safe across the Gulf Coast. The storm is moving this way. So sad seeing the pain and suffering in Houston area. You are in my prayers. If I can help, please let me know.
Flights r up on Southwest for Hangout weekend. Price isnt anything to pounce on tho. In past years I've seen them have flights from Chicago as low as $300 round trip all fees included. Cheapest flights are around $185 each way + fees so no reason to mess with anything yet.
2014 - Outkast, STS9, Killers (who I ended up seeing) -What I missed for not knowing any better/conflicts/dumb decisions (shame! shame!): QOTSA (shame! shame!), Modest Mouse, Chance, P.TheMan
2015 - Foo, ZBB, Beck -What I missed: Lupe (shame! shame!), Umph, Young Fathers, Grizfolk,
2013 - Petty, Stevie, KoL -What I missed: YYY, Kendrick, Big G, Holy Ghost, Grizzly Bear, Best Coast, The Werks
I have kicked myself on many occasions for missing someone I discovered I liked later. In some cases, they came back like TAB, Black Crowes, and MMJ and I was able to catch them the second time around.

Id have to look back at the schedule for YYY. Ill be seeing their return at SOS fest. I just didnt know about Kendrick back then and I think ne215 was just getting into him.
Lizzo I missed early but Ive seen her plenty of times thanks to ACL and SXSW.
I know you're a fan of Old Crow Medicine Show. They are playing 9/15/17 at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville before leaving at the end of the month for Australia.

That is a Friday Night Grand Old Opry show. They will only sing a few songs. Good show, but I want to see a couple hours of them. Friday's in the fall are pretty much high school football games and playing local gigs as they come up. Thanks for the head's up!
anyone see Partison Fontaine this year? hes coming my way in October and i love his album the more i listen to it. wondering how he was?
he was awesome. great start to sunday. he had about 50 people there to see him at the restaurant stage in the pouring rain.
i would have loved that. i hate weeknight shows and trying to limit myself to save but trying to still see acts i havent seen yet so its gonna be hard to skip this.
