There's a slight possibility, but I doubt it. Too many "maybe" festivals in the weeks leading up to it that are more likely to win me over (Solid Sound, Mountain Jam). I'll keep an eye on this though.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
This is on my radar as the family fest. I have heard great things about kids activities on this fest (I mean who wouldn't want to parade and then jam on stage with Moe). It will come down to this or Grateful Fest at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park a few weeks later. Love the venue (beach, camping in the woods, cliff diving, quarry swimming) of Grateful Fest and it is about half the cost but I am sure Moedown will have better bands and kids activities.
Well looks like I am in for this. The GF picked this over Grateful Fest. I'll be buying the cheap early birds tomorrow. If anyone else ends up going I'll be there with the family! New summer fest plan:
Sweetwater 420 Domefest Dead & Co. run (Fenway night 1, SPAC, Cuyahoga Falls) Moedown Peach Catskill Chill
I've heard from a reliable source that first artist announcement will be released monday or tuesday.
Also rumor is that there are a few head scratchers on the lineup, including a band "similar to the eagles" and i'm not joking, a few very "random" popular artists from the late 90's.
