This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
What can I say.. some people enjoy a young person with unique and strong songwriting abilities up on the stage rather than some kid piddling with his laptop trying to make music.

Back in the day, Pure Heroine got a lot of posts in Now Playing. You forget that this board also has a generally favorable Carly Rae Jepsen opinion too.
Carly Rae Jepsen is my guilty pleasure. I would 100% go to her concert if she came to town. Her being on the farm would be awesome.
this is another big win. overall the clues aren't that bad. but holy shit they started with some crap. i'm hyped for wednesday morning. if i get 5 more artists i wanna see i'm definitely heading back
I'm more worried about no Avalanches clue. You think that'd be a perfect clue to give out, an undercard artist that would actually excite people.
As a numbers game, you really think Avalanches would excite more people than cage, lorde, borgore, or getter? Their tent is going to be Nick Cave / Cymande status.

I think they'd excite people more than Borgore or Getter. The most positive reaction to those artists have been edm fans going "they're not the best, but I listen to them sometimes. It'll probably be a fun show".

I just went back and listened to Lorde again to see if I was in a bad state of mind. She's a boring, less talented Florence with a drum machine. I don't like pop, granted, but there's so much more out there worthy of praise than that dry white toast

Wait, how are Florence and Lorde alike? Their music and singing styles are very different.
Indie pop soulful singing. Yeah they have different styles. One has energy, the other puts me to sleep
Had a great time. Knew none of their music and only the bare bones of their background story, but they were fantastic. Wish it wasn't an early-afternoon set at Which, but that just meant I was able to be right on the rail with no wait, I suppose.
