When I started going to roo I heard that exact same thing from the jam band/wook crowd.
Yeah, and a lot of them abandoned the festival because they all but stopped booking jam bands, or their tastes changed. I don't know if many of our tastes are going to change to be more in line with the direction they're moving.

Stop. This is far different. The wooks were averse to new genres of music. Its not like Roo is stepping into arenas we are uncomfortable with. Half of this board would love for a great artist of any genre to headline.
Can't wait for my friends to complain about how terrible the lineup is for 6 months and then buy tickets 1-3 days before Thursday anyway. It's a tradition since 2014.

I'm not saying it's complete garbage. I've attended Lollapalooza's with worse lineups than this. But you have to have a serious agenda to pretend this is anything like Bonnaroo 2012-2015.

A 2014 quality lineup at Roo ever again would be a miracle.
