I liked them up through the album Mine Is Yours but fell off them after that. Never saw them so I'd potentially check out their set. Probably not though.

I thought the lineup was pretty bad last year, but I was still able to have a pretty good time. Didn't have to deal with as many conflicts + I was finally able to check out the extracurricular activities happening on the farm (never had time to do so previous years). However, given the lineup this year, I don't think the price of admission, gas, food, coming close to heat exhaustion/dehydration is justifiable for me to want to go. I think the Bonnaroo ship has sailed, sadly. Too many festivals nowadays + the current active artists that are circulating aren't clicking with me. In terms of electronic music, I don't understand how you can go from DJ Shadow, Four Tet, Caribou, Darkside, Flylo, and SBTRKT to Getter, Marshmello, Martin Garrix, and Boregore. $$$ I guess =/
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

I hope Lorde plays Friday or Saturday! Excited to listen through this more in depth. I hope I can find more I like, after a quick first scan I've already found a few things I'm feeling. At a first glance, I definitely prefer last years lineup to this. There's sooooo much EDM on this thing.

I just have trouble looking at the top half. I said the other day that I didn't think booking costs would have a big impact, but I was probably wrong. There are just too many artists who would have made sense, even within that lineup, that are missing. Regardless of personal preference, where are MGMT, Ryan Adams, Animal Collective, Schoolboy Q, Hall n Oats, The Avalanches, Nick Murphy, St. Paul & the Broken Bones, Young the Giant, Kaytranada, etc?
For stuff lower down: No Savages? Strand of Oaks? White Denim? Thundercat? Real Estate? Maggie Rogers?
Just published the lineup since the Goody artist shared, and the kids are actually LOVING it on Twitter.
THIS IS WHY WE CANT HAVE NICE THINGS
they definitely aren't "loving it" on reddit
some damage control, some "this isn't so bad, i'll find stuff i like" but the negative posts are getting a lot of upvotes which is relatively rare there
