I feel like the 2016 poster is so ugly that it's affecting my opinion seeing it there. 2017's not a great one either (it still looks kind of fake), but much better than that monstrosity
Remember when Chainsmokers at #18 on the poster was scandalous? When you compare them to Marshmello's placement it looks quaint by comparison. The salad days.

They are both awful. But the target demo for the festival is college kids. Unfortunately college kids love shit EDM.

I think you meant Orwells, not "Oswalds". Also, the crowd didn't knock the power out. Security purposely cut them off until they got everyone off the tent. The behavior was pretty typical for an Orwells show, I just don't think Bonnaroo knew what they were getting themselves into when they put them there.
Yeah I meant Orwells and no, security did not cut power. I knew both of the sound guys at the show. They LOST power. Also The Orwells were pissed by being on a small stage (not the sound guys fault at all) and several times the sound guys asked them to tell everyone to move back so people did not get hurt on the rail. What did The Orwells do? Tell people to get closer. The railing broke because of it (luckily no one was hurt TOO BADLY)
Of all the acts that played Miller Lite On Tap Lounge, only ONE got a bad review by all the people who worked it on the other side. After there set, the band told the sound guys to fuck off as well. Real class act. I like their music but seriously, act professionally.
For those who weren't there, security cut power, none of what Pondo described happened.

I'd honestly say about the same but that's not a good thing. 2016 was a big step down from 2015 which was a really big step down from a quite excellent 2014.

I wasn't at the set, but I did see a video where the sound guy says something to their lead singer, and then the singer says something along the lines of "sound guy said it's too crowded, so uhh, push forward." I'll see if I can find it
Edit: Here it is. About 1:50 in "do me a favor and push on forward" to the crowd after the sound guy comes up to talk to him, which I doubt is what he asked him to say.

There set would have been fine had they not asked the crowd to rush the stage. I still have pics from people hanging from the top of the tent. And it's exactly what happened. They sounded great but acted classless.

All you did was bitch about the Orwells last time they played. You also referred to them as "The Osmunds" IIRC.
Edit: Here's the post, you called them the Oswalds and made up a story about the lead singer encouraging the crowd to rush the barricade.

Well huh...but I was told I was wrong. Guess not.
I proved you correct, don't be a douche about it though.
