Technically it's 2018 but mark me down for Jam Cruise. Pretty much ends any chance I was going to do Outside Lands sadly but the lineup is crazy good for both.
Lets just say I just got one of those live nation festival passes. I have no idea what I am capable of. But it goes like - Bonnaroo - Friday and sat - 80% - ACL 80% - Voodoo - 100% - Gov Ball Sat and/or Sun - 100% - Peach for a day or 2 - 100% - Billboard 100 - ?? - Music Meadows - 100% - Lolla - 100% - Crystal Coast - 25%

- Boston Calling - done
- Gov Ball - done
- Firefly - Sunday only - imminent
- Bonnaroo - sadly could not make it work - ACL - 100% - Voodoo - 100% - Peach for a day or 2 - 100% - Billboard 100 - Hell no what a horrible line-up - Music Meadows - I cant not do riot fest - Lolla - 100% - Crystal Coast - was at gov ball
- Riot Fest - 100%
- Forecastle - like 12% chance
So for the live nation pass I will get Lolla $350 (would have gone without it), Gov Ball $150 (would not have gone without it), ACL $200 (would not have gone without it, but would have wanted to), Voodoo $165 (would have gone without it), Peach $100 (would not have gone without it). Also, I could go to Music Meadows for free - but I just like the Riot Fest lineup too much. So I am assigning a personal value of about $965 to the $800 pass - give or take. Would have been $1200 of value but for Riot. Could be more if I get to Forecastle. Not bad but not overwhelming. Had no time to plan for even the possibility and is was mostly an impulse buy. Still - I think I am may be the most knowledgeable person that exists on Live Nation Festivals at this point
No. Updating for the future. Buku, ACL, Jazzfest, Voodoo and Day for Night are 2017. It's been a definite off year for me festival wise in terms of numbers of festivals I attended. But so far so good and I probably watched the rest of them on TV or PC.
