Hah, yeah fair enough I guess lol. I saw someone mention hope for The Avalanches leading it and had a good laugh at that. It will probably just be some hodgey podgey Hobby Lobby last minute shitshow, I tried to stop by the SJ last year and from what I saw it was... not great lol. Wish I'd been around for the fun ones, the idea sounds great on paper.
UM or Chance in some capacity would be a huge step up for that Saturday LN schedule. Sphongle is the backup option for us but with it being my first Roo I'd love to see a killer SJ.

I went to the superjam last year, heard ring of fire, then promptly went to big grams. Can't say I regret my choice.
Yeah I heard from friends that were there that it was awful. I couldn't believe it when I saw Kamasi was running it but the theme has a lot to do with it too.
The superjam wasn't that bad last year. I probably enjoyed it more than the Pretty Lights one in 2015.
I thought it was great. Lots of talented musicians jamming. There were some weak points like Third Eye Blind guy of course but overall it was enjoyable if predictable

you made the right decision. i just went back to the hotel after ring of fire. it's the only roo LN i can remember leaving not because I was too tired to stay (I was tired of course, but not that tired), but because there was nothing else i cared to catch that night.
Every other time I've left LN I was tearing myself away, engaged in a wrenching battle between my body and my brain and my heart, because I want to stay and catch artist X so badly but I am physically incapable of doing so.
No disrespect intended to Big Grams, I'm sure it was fun, just isn't my thing.
Leaving Pearl Jam early to catch the shitty superjam, then realizing too late I shouldn't have done that, and then realizing I didn't care for my other options, was the moment I realized Bonnaroo was done for me.
Having said that, I had a fucking BLAST the next day. It was a wonderful "probably last day I'll be at Bonnaroo" Sunday. In fact 2016 as a whole was more fun for me than 2015.

Had a random part of my dream focus on this year's super jam, and the theme was EDM mash-ups, so Getter, Yellow Claw, etc. were paired with rappers, guitarists, etc.
