I met a guy at Bonnaroo who mentioned inforoo during our conversation. I got kind of excited and asked what his username was. He was like "oh...I just post on Facebook...the people on the boards are kinda mean". I just told him we're all really nice in real life.
I had a similar experience in the Pearl Jam pit line. I mentioned bees and she was all, 'You must be on Inforoo.' And then she went on to look disgusted and say that she just lurked because people here aren't nice. Then she stopped talking to me. :/
I think I've already gone through all the stages of lineup shock/disappointment/grief, and at this point I'm just going to be glad that I'm gonna be back on the Farm after skipping 2017. Missing it last year really has me more excited about it. As long as I can walk under that arch, and party till the sun comes up with all you people, I think I'm good with it. I'm sure there will be stuff that I don't like and I'm sure there will be stuff that I love, but that's how it is every year.
The headliners are evenly split between the hip hop world and rock (Eminem, Killers) to make every fan satisfied. In addition, they are hosting interesting collabs and unexpected music: Communal Campground Activation (Matt Schultz) and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will perform their 2017 album Pizazz. The electronic music on the bill are not just DJ performances but includes duos and live elements (Big Wild, Chainsmokers).
