So there’s 148 acts listed, does this include club stages already? I’m also thinking Kalliope acts are billed? Last year it was around 100 names on lineup day IIRC
Yeah I'm almost thinking they included club acts to make the lineup look more "full". But then again, it initially makes the last third of the lineup seem significantly worse.

What's weird is they definitely could have cut the bottom acts from the primary poster and instead just included them on the full lineup on the website. But w/e I guess.

I recognize several of those bands as Nashville artists. I wonder if they put them out there early to try to get more local ticket sales.
I spent Thursday of 15 in the medical tent watching my friend get her foot fixed, rolled her ankle in the fountain and it was like a purple potato. During this time, I saw multiple kids losing their shit and also had a nice chat with the helicopter pilot who was a pretty chill guy to be under so much pressure. There was a pregnant woman who had to be air lifted out because she broke her leg, and everyone was discussing how difficult it would be to move her via airlift without sedation.
I am pretty sure that 4 or 5 hour set in the medical tent will beat whatever they put together for Thursday 2018.
Yeah bro that's why lineups don't matter. Its all about the magic of THE FARM.

I'm just fine with it.
My expectations were low after last year and this is much, much better. Muse was a pleasant surprise as they are one of the few remaining headliners that I have yet to see. I'm also definitely going to see Sturgill, Bon Iver, Khalid, kaskade, paak, esso, nile & Chic, rufus, broken social scene, jungle, manchester, osbornes, thundercat, mavis, denzel, Moses Sumney, AMADOU & MARIAM!!!, Japanese Breakfast, Noura Mint Seymali, Gallo, Lissie, Alex Lahey, PPPP, POND!!!!!!!!!!!, Everything everything, blank range, war & treaty, texas gentlemen, regrettes, repeat repeat and Low Cut Connie. Grand Ole Opry could be great and I'm glad the Bluegrass jam is gone.
This lineup also lends itself well to the superjam. It could be one of the best they've had with the people on site.
That's around 30 acts, so I'm happy. This is infinitely better than last year and other than headliners, better than 2016. Plus there are a ton of bands I'm unfamiliar with, which is welcomed.
I do agree that David Byrne, yeah yeah yeahs, wu tang or really any kind of reunion type deal or rare get would really make this better. I'm am thrilled to see that they didn't give in to Twenty One Pilots/Chainsmokers/Post Malone/Halsey that could have been easy/lazy bookings.
The Revivalists are criminally overbooked. How on earth are they before Nile & Chic? Amadou & Mariam are much too low as well. Those are glaring misplacements to me. I am curious to see how this sells.
