There's just enough here that I like (Trombone Shorty, Mavis Staples, Moon Taxi, Sturgill, St. Paul) that I might go, but only because the wife and I both have street team tickets that probably burn after this year. Some of it will depend on how much of what I like gets booked into Sloss (Moon Taxi is semi-confirmed by clues and St. Paul makes a lot of sense).
Haven't we seen them all a million times though? They're all pretty much festival standards now
Yes. But again, we're talking free tickets that are very likely to not be valid next year. They're killing off Street Team, have said they will honor Roo tickets for this year at a point level I have but certainly didn't leave much hope they'd continue to do so beyond this year. There's not even a guarantee they'll keep it open for AC club shows past this year. So basically, it comes down to logistics and taking off work since I'm semi-local and the ticket is covered.
Like the only thing I'm legitimately not happy with is Dua Lipa's booking. But I can live with the rest of this. It's basically the most I can expect with Bonnaroo in 2018
Muse, Sturgill, Bon Iver, Anderson Paak, Chic, Rufus, Brockhampton, Jungle, Thundercat, Ikebe Shakedown, Pond, Justin Jay, and Everything Everything would be cool. I’ve just had so many chances to see all of this.
This thing is going to feel pretty thin spread over 4 days though.

I'm more shocked with the placements of some acts. Sturgill Simpson is in the Top 6? Above Bon Iver? Dua Lipa is billed so high, and above Sheryl Crow? Maybe I'm just not with the times.

Like, outside of Bon Iver, there's not a single interesting act in the first three lines. And there's way more crap EDM than I thought they'd go with. Very odd.
There’s honestly a lot more shit on this lineup that I like than I was expecting Sturgill Future Bassnectar Bon Iver x2 Khalid Kaskade Anderson .Paak Virtual Self Chic Rufus Chromeo STS9 Brockhampton The Glitch Mob Rag’N’Bone Man Jungle T-Pain What So Not Daniel Caesar Thundercat
