If you don't burst out into laughter every time that Not Afraid comes on, then something's wrong.
If you judge Eminem's career as a rapper off of Not Afraid, then something's wrong.
Can we judge his career off not putting out a good album in like 10 years? That's actually a serious question because he did used to be really good. But he's been consistently bad for a while now.

Eminem is a talented writer and definitely had his heyday, but I just can't be bothered anymore.. as good as he was he should have bowed out gracefully 2 albums ago. Everything he releases now just tarnishes his past accomplishments. It also doesn't help my opinion of him that anyone I've ever met who is super into Eminem is a total jagweed.

don't even think i'll listen to the new one. keeping the good image of Em in my head. agreed he should be done, that being said i'd still see him at roo to hear the classics
I mean.. Did you actually think the album was gonna be good when you first saw that tracklist, let's be real here..
I thought it would be good with Walk on Water being the lead single and him references what we've been saying about him, I guess that song was really just a cautionary tale of his career.

MMLP will always hold a spot for me, the writing was crazy, he pushed so many boundaries with songs like Kill You and Kim. I think The Way I Am showcases his writing and lyricism best from that era too. Such a classic.
Yeah this isn't that good. Some parts stand out and from what little I've listened to so far his song with Ed Sheeran is one of the better ones, but overall it's not doing it for me. Man, I miss the old Em.
