Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I remember the first year I went in 2010 they had the new lunar stage where Calliope is now, and every day they'd have this awful Rock Band contest and it seemed like every fucking person did green day. And everyone else was like, if I wanted to hear green day I wouldn't be at fucking Bonnaroo
I thought that the only option was Green Day. People were actually picking them instead of someone else? Like, those must have been done slim pickings. (But not actually Slim Pickens.)
I don't know... if the choice was between green day and the killers I'm definitely leaning towards green day...
Meh. I saw them this summer and they were pandering to the crowd so hard it got kind of gross. You really only need to say thank you you are the greatest there's no crowd like you *insert your town usa* like once. Otherwise, solid sound, cool pyrotechnics.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

I'm guessing there wasn't much to choose from, and since people weren't exactly checking with each other... We just got awful green day karaoke
If it makes anyone feel better, them hitting rock bottom this year means there's a chance in 2020. But yea.. LiveNation should just fold its booking/promotional team and just do venue buyouts. Maybe they are doing really well; but from a fan perspective the last 5 years in Brooklyn has been miserable; basically LN vs. Bowery (connection of multiple spots; including Capitol Theater) for anything of interest
I can't believe the hippie is saying this, but if they want to refuse to listen to their demographic strengths of the past; and at least the management staff involved in it; they should suffer and learn or re-structure. The farm won't be the same if after 4 years they can't even spark a lineup with some heart - and thus capitalism should win out. Older/more advanced festival goers with *ahem* better music taste; from purely personal experience, spend a lot more money and stick around way longer than just trying to placate to popularity. Placating to popularity is what destroyed a lot of hip-hop constructs strengths: BET and Hot 97 do not have the same marketplace as a Power 105 or an internet focused Sway and Tech show.. because they ignored their core audiences.
As someone who skipped Thom Yorke of Radiohead at a music festival to lie in bed and watch Catfish, I can confirm Deto is right. Why is Neve still reminding us that he’s Neve from Catfish though?

As opposed to that other Thom Yorke, of not Radiohead
