I can guarantee that they will close with Jenny Was a Friend of Mine, and that Brandon Flowers will say "We wouldn't come all the way to Tennessee without playing Jenny Was a Friend of Mine", and that all you haters will sing every last word.
My sources say it will be three sets. Each set will be a performance of a different album in its entirety. The albums featured will be Day & Age, Battle Born and Wonderful Wonderful.
Did you have to look up the name of the albums that weren't hot fuss and Sam's town?

Totes. I didn't even know how many albums it was much less the names.
Imagine passionately preferring Green Day over Beyonce and being only, like, the 6th worst poster ITT.
I’d much rather see Green Day than Beyoncé, she does nothing for me, I don’t think she’s bad at all but she’s extremely overhyped and sounds like generic radio pop, not my cup of tea at all. That and I’m also a youngin and American Idiot was the first CD I actually bought with my own money and didn’t get gifted or asked for. Jesus of Suburbia, Holiday, Give me Novacaine, Blouavrd Of Broken dreams, wake me up when September ends, American Idiot. That album was gold to my angsty young self. Plus with plenty of other hits from Dookie and other albums I’d love to see them. Wouldn’t go out of my way to see them but would love to see them at Shaky or Roo. I know I’m defiently in the minority but I’d take Green Day over the undercard killing queen B

I share your thoughts on Green Day and your attachment to American Idiot. They were probably the first band I was really into. But seeing Green Day 10 years after I've really cared about them versus seeing the era's defining pop performer at the height of her powers is a no-brainer for me. Also she's definitely not generic radio pop. At least not with the last two albums.

I defietnly understand they are past their prime and Beyoncé is still in hers, but I’ve still heard great things about Green Day live none the less, I’d just take a nostalgic show than a top hit artist right now.

I would 100% skip Beyonce for a nap. I would go check out green day because I've never seen them before. Beyonce at roo would be the ultimate selling out to me.
I just will forever find it odd that people have such visceral reactions to “pop” artists. That somehow even accepting that some pop can be good is heresy, and that it would in some way water down their status as a “music fan”.

Getting arguably the biggest artist on the planet to play your festival is an achievement.

It’s one thing to not like Beyoncé, but to call her generic pop shows you don’t know a whole lot about Beyoncé or pop music.
Beyoncé, Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, Bruno Mars, Pink!, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift all seem like generic pop to me. If not what is generic pop and how does it defferenciate between the artists listed.

I also think there are a lot of people who’d criticize a Beyoncé booking but be fine with Justin Timberlake, even though he is far closer to the “generic pop music” definition.

What's different about booking Beyoncé than booking Stevie Wonder?
