Dude, if you honestly can’t tell the difference between Lemonade and 24k Magic I’m not going to be able to explain to you. There as different to me as Radiohead and The Killers.
Hey fuck you, 24K Magic is top tier music.
Honestly... seeing him perform it live is incredible. He makes it incredible.
It's maybe my single favorite song I've ever seen performed live.
If I went this year I would skip her set, but I can recognize and respect her place in music
You have a knack for missing legendary sets
If Bonnaroo had booked her and NOT Coachella, it would've been a really big get. Coachella already snagging her diminishes the prestige factor a good bit in my eyes...

I don’t know, man. I’m on the side of she would be an even bigger get if that were the case.
Naw, more like a "you specifically touted her willingness to sing about female-centric issues as a reason you don't like her" argument.
No, my arguement is that people act like she speaks for them when she's the furthest thing from an "every woman "
So people can only be inspired by others just like them or in the same socioeconomic class? What is wrong with female empowerment? What's wrong with a woman that's hugely successful inspiring others? Especially inspiring the young?
You blow that off so easily as "rah rah girl power" like that lessens it. Yet you can't make a simple statement to explain why that is the case and why anyone should take that as a reasonable argument.
difference is both 24k magic and Lemonade are overplayed on the radio on every hot 100 hit song channel. The only song by Radiohead that’s ever played on the radio is Creep and Radiohead has changed their sound distinctly with each album and fall under alternative and experimental rock while the killers fall under indie pop rock that gets radio play. Both Bruno Mars and Beyoncé are Pop/ R&B acts that play on the same generic pop stations. Do they not?
Not sure I understand your logic here. For instance, alternative stations play both X Ambassadors and Phoenix songs. Does that mean there's no difference between X Ambassadors and Phoenix?
I’m saying what defines generic pop then? Why has no one stated a generic pop artist or what artists are similar to Beyoncé? And sure alternative stations play both X Ambassadors and Phoenix, are they different yes, would they both be considered Alt rock? Yes. Are Bruno Mars and Beyoncé different? Yes. Are they both pop/r&b and played all the time on top hit stations? Yes.
This timely track listing by my boys over at NTWICM is a fine respresentation of what kind of acts make up the all encompassing world of radio rock.

Excerpts from It Was Meant to Be: A Bruno Mars Fanfic
Chapter 6
"Oh my god I can't believe I cheated on Jessica with my best friend! Its your fault you wore that dress and got me so damn horny and gave me all those shots!!!! You were just so attractive last night I couldn't help my self." - Bruno
I blushed deeply I didn't know I was that attractive. That probably explains why those guys and Phil was looking at me that way.
"Look, lets just pretend this didn't happen. We are just best friends that had drunk sex ONE night." I said getting up from the bed and putting my clothes back on. I put my thong and bra back on well aware of Bruno staring at me."
"How was she? And you have to tell me everything since I helped you." Phil said with a smirk on his face.
"I chuckled. Phil always knows how to make me laugh in rough times. "Honestly? She was so tight! God that felt good. And she has big, perky boobs. When I saw her ass it was HUGE. It was round and perfect. Almost like a bubble butt, but better. When she moaned, it was like heaven to my ears." - Bruno
""HELL YEAH SHE'S GOOD!! We didn't have that sweet soft sex bruh.... SHE WAS ROUGH and that was hot. I didn't know she had it in her."
Chapter 7
"I sighed. I just wish Bruno can leave that hoe, but she makes him happy so its like uggggghhh"
"God, what I would do to have sex with her again. Oh no, I noticed myself getting turned on. I looked down and I saw a bulge in my pants. Shit, I hope she doesn't see it. I tried my best covering myself up, but no matter what I did you can still see it." -Bruno
"First of all I'm fine and second of all you are not fine. What is wrong with him?" She asked Phil.
Oh my god, can my penis just go down. This is just like that time I got interviewed in Germany and the camera caught me aroused." - Bruno Mars

Fine.

So you didn’t bold Taylor Swift, Pink!, Kelly Clarkson or Bruno. Since when did they all not become pop acts and what are they considered if not pop?

Wow, we really dove right into the full blown sexism and unfair generalizations about pop music.
Also for the record I think Green Day is a highly enjoyable live band, but to vehemently proclaim how much better they’d be to book in the year 2017 than Beyonce is just all kinds of dumb. Sorry for all the fragile male egos around here.

It’s one thing to not like Beyoncé, but to call her generic pop shows you don’t know a whole lot about Beyoncé or pop music.
Beyoncé, Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, Bruno Mars, Pink!, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift all seem like generic pop to me. If not what is generic pop and how does it defferenciate between the artists listed.
You asked for generic pop. I have given you examples. I would hesitate to consider any of the artists you pointed out as generic.
And next time try not to move the goalposts when I'm paying attention.
Honestly... seeing him perform it live is incredible. He makes it incredible.
It's maybe my single favorite song I've ever seen performed live.
hahaha
Massive Fireworks and Confetti blasts timed perfectly with the music at Chorus after Chorus.
EVERYONE was dancing and singing as loud as they could.
It was incredible - people were hugging afterwards, high fiving - it was an incredible moment.
His show is otherwise fun but nothing special, Mumford was in a different league the next night... but that song is one of my favorite live music moments ever.
