Beyoncé, Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, Bruno Mars, Pink!, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift all seem like generic pop to me. If not what is generic pop and how does it defferenciate between the artists listed.
You asked for generic pop. I have given you examples. I would hesitate to consider any of the artists you pointed out as generic.
And next time try not to move the goalposts when I'm paying attention.
and what makes them not generic and just regular pop?
Wow, we really dove right into the full blown sexism and unfair generalizations about pop music.
Also for the record I think Green Day is a highly enjoyable live band, but to vehemently proclaim how much better they’d be to book in the year 2017 than Beyonce is just all kinds of dumb. Sorry for all the fragile male egos around here.
just for the record I never said Beyoncé wouldn’t be the better booking in 2017, she defietnly would be drawing more people than Greed Day by far. Just stated I thought she was overhyped and generic pop and I’d rather listen to generic rock like Green Day
Billie Joe Armstrong & Norah Jones would seem like a very "roo" act. Then we can have both female representation and exposure to Billie's wonderful singing voice. Best of both worlds.
I feel like this is weak in comparison to previous years. Seems like they usually book a few more Stephan Bodzin types in addition to just EDM. I think Carl Cox and Jamie Jones will be all over this year.

Rabbit In The Moon literally played as a LIVE headliner last year..? Azalea Banks is so irrelevant at this point, I really don't understand why they booked her.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
