I enjoyed Deadmau5 a lot. I only stayed for about 45 minutes because so much other stuff was going on. I got what I expected from it and left satisfied. I've seen much worse on the What.
What have you seen that was worse?
I saw someone pass out at the What Stage once, that might have been worse - debatable though because they got out okay

as far as headlinerish: the police billy joel kanye late night/early morning the black keys eminem
I'm sure by objective standards it was a good show, but after fifteen minutes of pearl jam I had to leave. That's the only real hl show I didn't enjoy at least somewhat.

eh, I was relatively disappointed too. In fact, I think my entire crew left that show early except me and I only stayed out of principal. (The year prior I left Mumford early for Superjam spot which was a mistake)
Billy Joel was the bottom of the "Sunday classic act" barrel.
Count your blessings; we almost got Clapton last year.
I would enjoy The Clap more than Piano Man. I wasn't sure I was going to attend Billy's set. I ended up just shrugging off the fact I wasn't a fan of the music and just had a good time dancing and having fun with it. I should try this strategy with big room EDM. I may fall in love with Bonnaroo all over again.

2015 was the only year I skipped a headliner's whole set, and it was Mumford.
I was reasonably pissed Joel cut his set early, but part of that is that I was having a pretty darn good time. It's toward the bottom of my list though.
Jack Kanye U2 LCD Soundsystem (pit) Dead and Company (pit) Deadmau5 (pit) Kendrick Lamar *large gap* Pearl Jam Elton John The Weeknd Billy Joel Red Hot Chili Peppers

1. Jack White 2. LCD Soundsystem 3. RHCP 2017 4. Mumford* 5. Kanye 6. U2 7. Kendrick 8. Elton 9. The Weeknd 10. Dead & Co ** 11. Pearl Jam 12. Billy Joel 13. Deadmau5 ***
* I was pretty out of my mind that night and don't really remember much outside of the cool intro and partying with random totem holders
** Probably should be higher, but was totally tanked from staying up late Saturday night and ended up laying in back of What Stage field and chilling instead of being up in the action

*** Really shouldn't even be on the list
Deadmau5 would have probably been a lot better for you if you had used whatever made Mumsons so interesting that night.

lol maybe... I think a bigger part is that Kendrick Killed it, then EW&F Killed it, and by the time I got to Deadmau5 it seemed like amateur hour
