The fyf instagram confirmed Paak will be closing the lawn stage in between Bjorks and Missys performances, while Slowdive then Flylo play on the Trees stage (who were both confirmed to not conflict with Bjork)
Okay, so to me that means we are looking at:
Slowdive vs Paak FlyLo vs Missy
Thats definitely a bummer
Those conflicts aren't all that surprising. Isn't there a late start that day? I am actually good with it because I have yet to see Paak and I was not going to miss Flylo anyways.
Im not going to miss Flylo either but I did want to see Missy

I thought that conflict was evident when they mentioned his closing. I hope Talabot gets a late start. I wasn't planning on going in until night that day. Praying MCDE and ATCQ don't clash on Saturday. The electronic on that day is so solid.

What other electronic music are you referring to? Im familiar with MCDE and Jaar but thats about it.

Daniel Avery and Black Madonna mostly. Arca, Fatima Yamaha, and Avalon Emerson will make for a nice kickoff though. Check out Drone Logic by Daniel Avery if you haven't. BM mixes in some disco. Her sets are always fun.

Paranoid London are fucking amazing, look up Eating Glue by Paranoid London. Young Marco is a great Dekmantel artist, look up his Dekmantel 2016 set, Omar-S is a fantastic DJ, any of his boiler rooms are class. Fatima Yamaha's Dekmantel live set is groovy as ~~fuqqq~~, Horse Meat Disco plays great disco sets. Helena Hauff plays some great stuff too. The bottom pink stripe of the lineup is loaded with great electronic acts.

Ill def check these people, thanks! Its crazy that pretty much all of the artists on this lineup are at least pretty good live. Theres very few duds besides MGMT, and I enjoy their music enough to enjoy their shows.
To be fair the last time I saw MGMT it wasn't that bad. People are too hard on their live show imo. And at least these days they aren't against playing some of the hits.

I had a lot of fun at their Hangout set. You can tell they hate playing Kids but they have a really funny stage presence. It was also hilarious hearing people in the crowd say "MGMT is weirder than I expected. Sorry guys"
When I saw Flylo in 2014 it was a very unique, very awesome show that included him rapping some of his captain murphy material
Cant wait to see what he has in store.
He was doing the layered show when I last saw him. I'm wondering if that will play into things. It would also be interesting if he inserted some Kuso clips. Either way it will be one of the best sets of the weekend. This might be the best possible way to see him.

It's gonna be my first time seeing him. I hope he won't conflict with any headliners.

He's closing his stage so I think that's a given. I'm sure Missy will be fun, but there will be no comparison.
