Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
1) why are most of y'all skipping out on Hundred Waters? Her voice is bomb live 2) what is this horse meat disco situation
Kelly Lee Owens is better
Kelly Lee Owens would be a nice act to see. I hope they have her at Day for Night on the inside stage and am looking forward to your review. No chance I miss Hundred Waters to see her. I'm not in your head to be able to define better the way you do. But though the vocals are close, I prefer Nicole Miglis, Hundred Waters' music is superior.

That Missy performance cracked me up. I'm not sure I'd call it objectively great, but I was super entertained. There was like one hilarious thing that happened every 5 minutes... the montage of people calling her an innovator, visionary, etc., her speech about how real superstars like her and Beyonce keep trucking on when things happen like their hair gets frizzled, her insistence on identifying "MY DAY ONE FANS" even though she has a 20+ year career and her average person there was probably 25, her shouting out random people like "I heard Katy Perry is here, everyone give it up for Katy Perry!"
Overall, was an awesome day last night. Already has a "I'm not sure they're going to top this next year" feel.
-Hit "the rush" yesterday trying to enter around 6:30-6:45 with everyone else getting off work around 5. Got sweaty palms for a moment when the line stalled for a couple minutes, but overall wasn't terrible. Maybe a 20-25 minute line to get in from the moment I hit the queue? Much better than last couple years -Started with Royal Headache. Their frontman is a nut case, in a good way. He took off his shirt, looked down at his stomache, and yelled "I don't enjoy this any more than you do, just needed to do this" -Angel Olsen was good, but felt a little subdued from my previous time seeing her -Bjork was awesome. Pretty immersive performance and the crowd seemed respectful -Got lazy and did Paak over Slowdive. First time seeing Paak - he's a showman and put on a great performance. Next album cycle if he delivers another good one, sky is the limit for him -Missy explained above -Was at FlyLo's show for ~30 mins - the 3-D glasses actually worked! I thought it was going to be just some tacky gimic that sucked, but that was pretty cool -Didn't wait for anything all day. Literally no line for bathrooms, beer, or food. Impressive, but hope that isn't a sign this was super undersold. It felt as crowded as last year to me
Fantastic. She had a full strings section and sounded great. She had a much bigger production than when I saw her in '13, great visuals and a lot of fireworks/pyrotechnics at the end. I can't say enough good things about that set
Had a fantastic time yesterday. I'll write a more detailed review later, but I can say that yesterday was very satisfying in terms of music. I couldn't see FlyLo but ended up seeing Helena Hauff, which was also great.
Today's schedule for me:
Sat: Jonathan Richman > Big Thief > Fatima Yamaha > MCDE > Cap'N Jazz > Built to Spill > Avalon Emerson > Erykah Badu > Sleep > Nicolas Jaar
Have you been watching it? Kind of poor effort by twitter for the interviews and buffer work, but the shows have been good. So far they presented that African band, Hundred Waters, Slowdive, S U R V I V E and whatever is coming on next. Edit to say it ended up being MGMT - not terrible. They were always talented.

I moved to Tampa this weekend so haven't had time to watch the stream, but I love the lineup enough to be eternally jelly.
The crowd sucks at times. Probably one of the least energetic festival crowds I've been around. Q-Tip couldn't command the crowd last night as a result so he tried to keep restarting tracks to get the energy up by to no avail. I was thinking it was mostly because people were camping for Frank, but Flylo's set suffered in the same way.
Frank Ocean, Bjork and Missy have been my favorite sets so far, but I haven't seen a bad set yet. Really excited for Talobman, Solange, Iggy, Whitney and TR/ST today.

I thought the crowd energy at all of the dance stages has been great and people were going crazy during Missy.

Says it starts in 3 1/2 hours. It was pretty lackluster yesterday. No channels to choose from, and lots of filler with interviews that are pretty terrible. And no schedule, so you have no idea what's coming up (that I saw at least). You have to just luck into something.
Hoping NIN gets streamed tonight and I happen upon it.

Oh yeah the Woods/Outer Space is always on point. I've just grown so accustomed to bouncy Flylo sets, I leave somewhat disappointed when the audience feels flat.
